AT the risk of being the oddball.. wait actually not at all, since every single player I met in brawl had the same exact mentality, so it is not uncommon at all.. Carrying on; I love 1v1 model in Brawl

Why? Because Duels get real boring facing same guy again and again if you remake after match. On the other hand brawl matches not only fresh things up by pairing you with alternated guy every round, it also mixes up teams in remakes too.

So by queuing and remaking in brawl I get to fight 3 guys alternating, where as in duel it is same guy again and again, even if you avoid remake and requeue odds that same guy will come.

So I am very happy the way it is, and so far noone ever disrespected 1v1s in any of my matches. Winner of one fight just waits the other one finish, awesome behaviour!

Hahahaha Sorry I had to do the joke.

Now seriously: I totally agree with you, 2vs2 mode was not intended for dueling and looking at your teammate while he is fighting and dieing alone IS NOT HONORABLE AT ALL. 2 vs 2 is exactly 2 vs 2 , not 1+1 vs 1+1. FIGHT WITH YOUR TEAMMATE TOGETHER! Changing starting spawn would totally improve that.
You know what, why some people like to 1 vs 1 in Brawl mode, because the stage setting is wide enough, duel mode is force you fight at the narrow place such like bridge are kinda annoying. That's why we rather choose Brawl mode to play 1 vs 1 instead of duel mode. I will happy if dev take away narrow location from dueling mode, another thing is 3 location is kinda boring, at least give us 5 different location for 1 map.

Yes please! I support this thread! I hate ppl begging for 1vs1 in brawl mode. If you want 1vs1, you got duel for that.

The problem I have with that is that it negate a whole new playstyle of the game, there is no other mode to have 2on2. And in my experience of matchmaking I get almost the same people whenever i play brawl so i think the whole "i fight the same person over and over" is more of a matchmaking problem than the mode itself.

I definitely support this. We have 1v1 for all the duelists who are looking to further refine their mechanics. We have 4v4 Elim/Dominion for people to get their gearscore up and work on objective play and map rotations. Having 2v2 be a traditional brawl would give players a place where they can work on their team play and focus on multi-targeting and peeling for their teammates.

It's also just infinitely more fun to play 2v2 than it is 1v1/1v1. Hopefully Ubi thinks about implementing this change.

Yes, with brawl there is no turtle, revenge isn't as broken as when you try to 2on1 because the gain is minimal and it open up a different play-style, lawbringer is also definitively better in 2on2 scenario than 1on1.
