Suppressor removal sometimes broken? | Forums

Sometimes when I have removed the suppressor from my HTI to shoot at vehicles I find it can sometimes take many shots to down even the small helos when normally they will go down in one shot to the same location on the helo.

This seems to get fixed by equipping and un-equipping the suppressor.

Anyone else getting this?

I am as well. Do you have the Advanced Supressor unlocked? I suppose it doesn't matter because I have it unlocked and experience the same thing.

I've noticed a difference with damage using the MSR and MK17 I have Adv. Suppressor activated and without it, I still get more damage.

Platform = PC
I have the weapon skill tree maxed out including all medals - ie max possible vehicle damage is unlocked so I can take down 'apache' helos with an MSR as well in one or two shots.

I have experienced this in solo and co-op, thought mostly experience it in co-op.

i've noticed this too. I'm playing on PC and have over 50 hours played and there's definitely and inconsistency there. i've maxed the vehicle dmg including bonus medal, and have the adv suppressor. Sometimes i can 1 shot blackhawks/apaches/AH-6s even with/without the supressor equipped, other times they seem invulnerable to sniper rounds even unsuppressed ones fired from the HTI or they take incredibly low damage from it.

Ok, so this is happening on more than one platform, thank you for the clarification. I'll see what I can find out.

Was able to capture a video clip of the occurrence that seemed to happen after fast traveling to another region. Also, i noticed the effect stopped by going into the gunsmith menu and shuffling around parts to change the weapon stats. Hope this helps!
