When playing "For Honor" i ocassionally have the PS4 home screen pop up. It acts as if I pressed the PS button. But i am sure my thumbs never strayed further than the analog control sticks.
I have two dual shock controllers and it happens on either one. It ONLY happens when playing "For Honor". All other games and apps work normally. Usually happens during a battle, lol. Idk if theres a random button combo makes this happen or what. I tried searching the forums but i got nothing.
Thoughts?

Can't say that i've seen this before. There's nothing that I know of that would pull up the home screen outside of pressing the PS button. When it shows up, what do you see? Are you seeing the actual Playstation menu with your list of games or something else? Also, are you using the original PS controllers? I'll check around and see if I can figure anything out for this one.

thanks for the reply man, sorry i haven't checked this in days. yeah problem still happens. i was playing this morning and it happened. Been trying to hold the controller more gently .... idk maybe im gripping it too tight, twisting it or something, lol. its not like im overly strong or anything. so idk. cant believe im the only one experiencing this. weird.


BTW , yes ... it is the actual home screen of the ps4. i have to press the x button to go back into the game. unless i was unlucky enough to be pushing the stick to either side when it happens. then i have to scroll back over to "For honor". then press X . Original Dualshock 4 controllers.

I was hoping to find someone else having this issue. On top of that I also have an issue with the score screen coming up... Both happen in during combat.

It took me a while to figure out that I was, in fact, pressing the ps button and the touch pad respectively while fighting. Apparently I flail violently when I'm​ fighting so my thumbs seem to be reaching those inputs.

Anyway... Long story short... Could you please disable the function of those buttons while in combat or make them a long press like so many other functions in the game. There doesn't seem to be any good reason for them to be so easily accessible while fighting and it would really help keep my kids from thinking I have tourette's syndrome. Thanks in advance. Peace.

Same issue here; I wish they could let you disable these buttons! I keep dying because of it!

I can assure you your not hitting the button, I've had multiple controllers and consoles but for honor has something ****** up that makes me go to the ps4 home screen every time I start to fight with another player in game. It's made me hate ubisoft cuz I've sunk hundreds of hours (and dollars) into this game
