Before ya'll start yelling at me, hear me out. This game is way to easy with intel that tells you where everything is at, also with the menu telling you what area to find it. If you guys want a truly immersive world, make the intel only give a location to 1 thing or a highlighted area. Having it give you the location to everything defeats the purpose of exploring and truly interacting with the world. If people really wanted to know where things are they could look online. This kinda concept is working REALLY well for the new legend of zelda game, and how its too late to be done now, I think it should be done for future DLC and expansions.
Also please release the fix of the Auto save lag on its own ASAP, and not with the next patch weeks from now.. It is killing the experience to 50% of the community. Internet trouble is the reason why "for honor" is down 50%, if not more by now. Don't let it happen to this game (it truly is a good game next to other open world games). 2 major things people like in a game the most, Lag-less internet issues and non-clunky game play. Keep these two things running, you'll have a following and everything else wont seem as bad.
Edit) Also there is a bug with the hoodie (up position) it blocks or interferes with vision when looking down the scope.
Option: Don't gather Intel.
Seriously ... you CAN still grab EVERYTHING without the need for any Intel. Just like everything else in the game, how you gather stuff is completely up to you. Leave the intel. It is a good option for folks to use should they choose to.
NOTE: Key word ... "option"
I tell everyone when they join not to touch intel or they get the boot. Lol good bit of my map shows locations because of friends. I think a much better way of doing it when have been to shrink the area thats displayed when you gather it. And make it tougher to find the intel to start with. So example, The map doesn't tell you where intel is. You have to find it by recon. So as i'm on recon I find a higher ranking narco. I grab and interrogate him. Instead of giving locations for say guns in the entire region, he only tells me the locations of guns in that base or a say a 300m radius around it. It would make it a bit more of a challenge and more realistic
Not really. As someone just said above, you can set the rules for your team. This is why I formed a Task Force, and our task force plays by VERY specific rules of gameplay. Your best bet is to set the standards for your friends and play by those rules.Originally Posted by deaths-kage Go to original post
I hate to say it, but there are folks on my Ubi friend list who also play this game but I avoid them for these very same reasons ... they don't communicate and they want to rambo the game. I have exactly 3 people I can stomach playing this game with because they play by the standards I have set for my play style.
From what I am getting he is more upset that if you team up with random idiots ... I mean .. human players ... that their actions regarding intel are thrust onto you. Thus this becomes not really a feature issue, but a social issue.Originally Posted by NLxAROSA Go to original post
Actually, I think one great compromise would be that Intel should be treated just like supplies ... everyone has to interact with it individually, and they choose what they want. That way EVERYONE wins and we all get the choices.
- Advantage for the OP ... another player grabbing Intel won't clutter his map if he doesn't want it to.
- Advantage for folks who want the Intel ... total access and total choice (I admit it does kind of suck when I am looking for a weapons case and a teammate beats me to the intel we are standing next to and grabs supply raids or something).
- Possibility for encouraging team cooperation: So each person interacts with that intel and picks something different. Now they each have a "20" on some items and each can communicate and lead their team to respective item locations without having to chase after multiple intel. That would actually encourage co-op play for those interested in hunting stuff down.
I get what you are saying ... I have also been SERIOUSLY bothered by all the asshats who want to remove all possible options and choices for everyone just because they want to be elitist morons who worship Hitler's reign. But in this case, while I totally disagree with removing Intel from the game, I think the OP's post did spark an idea of actually doing the opposite ... giving players MORE options via the compromise I listed here.
Not saying remove it completely but as the person described below you in the thread, should be fixed for all the people who do want this kind of play style. [redacted]Originally Posted by NLxAROSA Go to original post
Thanks for describing what I was trying to say in a better way.Originally Posted by Faelandaea Go to original post
