Problem With Silencers? | Forums

Hello Everyone I'm trying to discover if this is a bug within the game or just my download Is effected.

Currently I play on Xbox One and have roughly 2 days of game time. I only play on the Extreme difficulty and thus silencers are critical. unfortunately I've noticed that quite often while paying I will equip my silencer on the MSR and the silencer will show on my screen but will be completely ineffective. this has ruined a great deal of stealth opportunities and usually results in my death. is anyone else having an issue like this?

Happens on PC too. they have said they are aware, but it's not on the known issues. It's kind of a big deal...

Just because the silencer is on, doesn't mean the guns won't make a peep. Some guns are going to be louder then others. I've used the MSR a good bit. And if a enemy is near by, they hear it.
