I've read about many people having the issue and thought maybe it was just something on their end, then seemingly out of no where IT HAPPENED!

DO NOT DELETE YOUR GRW BETA FOLDER IN DOCUMENTS YET. IT WIPES THE SAVES OUT OF THE MAIN GRW DOCUMENTS FOLDER TOO

The folder Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands\PersistentStorage is where your save game is located and after I removed the beta folder the contents were EMPTY in the main game documents save folder!

I found this from starting the game to find out I'm now a level 1 instead of 30! No joke I straight up almost crapped myself having over 40hrs into the game. To make matters worse I had no system restore point for some reason either. I rebooted, deleted the entire GRW folder in my documents and disabled cloud save in uplay. Fired up the game and crossed my fingers. Somehow it pulled my save file back! Now there are save files in the persistentstorage folder once again. I have cloud save off at the moment and to be honest I'm scared to touch anything at this point. I did however:

BACK UP THE "Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands\PersistentStorage" FOLDER! DO IT NOW!!!

And please Ubisoft, fix this 100% game breaking bug.
