    Performance drop after update?

The title pretty much explains it. Pre-update the game ran flawlessly. 1440p with solid 60fps on my 980Ti.

I've recently moved and when with the Internet at new place, booted up For Honor to see a 4GB update which once finished seems to have crippled performance. It just abouts stays at around 50fps. Anyone else?

Yes, I have the same problem.

I have a beast of a gaming PC, but my FPS took a large hit with the first patch and another hit with their hot fix patch. I've since turned graphics down/off, but it still feels sluggish.

So not only are their patches making connectivity worse, but it's also butchering performance. GG Ubi.

Make sure it hasn't changed your selected graphics adapter to whatever you've got on your processor.
I've been running at ~120 fps at 1080p on my 1070 consistently, but I will have very odd moments where I get fps drop but it's not reflected in the FPS counter, which continues to show 120.

It is using my 980Ti for sure. I've had a little read in the forums and Steam and it seems it's a known issue after the update. Thanks anyway.

I am also having this issue - it is very frustrating since it affects actual gameplay elements pretty drastically.

Is there any information I can provide to help troubleshoot?

I've updated to the latest NVidia drivers and optimized through GeForce experience, but that isn't causing the issue. Even if I drag all of the graphics settings to their lowest possible, there is still framerate loss.

I was playing at 60fps without a hitch prior to the update on high settings.

    GeForce 980M.

    THIS!
I was able to run the game before with my 960 at about 30-40fps. But since the last patch my frames are down in the teens which in a twitch based game makes it unplayable. What the heck.

Same here, before patch 70-80 fps, now 40-60 fps and stuttering.
