Hey Guys, yesterday I came across a guy who plays this play style...
Extreme difficulty, No HUD, Markers or Minimap... needless to say I actually had a blast!!! So much so, I quit my task force and joined to his...
Now, the reason for this post, I am just wondering if there are any people who use this play style... And if so, I invite you to add me as a friend...
My PSN is Matoxic88... and also my play times are from 12am to 6am UK time religiously every day... Anytime out of this and you will probably never see me online!!
I'm having so much fun with this game now!!! I am no longer running around like a bad ***, and instead trying to be a "Ghost"...
If you also have any tips to share for playing in this game mode feel free to add them...

It's worth a go mate... at first you feel completely exposed and driving around etc is a no go... fast travel and walk to your objective... I was taking out an outpost last night and usually it would take me 10 mins to get through, this time it felt like an achievement to do it without alarming anyone... my only problem was I was suppose to interrogate the sicaro... but I ended up snapping his neck and failed the mission 😂... attention to NPC detail is a must...
I was also with a few people last night and we alerted a base of our presence, we were all prone in the corn fields while the enemy were walking around us trying to find us, all the while it was raining with lightning effects etc, we had no idea where each other was until we switched to thermal... the immersion was insane... really did feel like a different game!! It went from a 5/10 to a 8/10 in a matter of 30 minutes!!

I think this is the point of what most players are missing out on. They want to play it like an arcade type shooter, but honestly the best experience comes from pretending like you're an actual ghost. I too have played this playstyle even through my first run through of the game.

Hello, I am really enjoying GRW but I already beat the game level 30, and it is hard to find replay value. Also, I am sick of people not playing tactical(it ruins the experience) So I have a suggestion.
Simulation Mode:
Mode that is ultra realistic
Here is what I think.
1. All players in squad must be in this mode to play together (So we don't have someone run n gun)
2. All players must have a mic
3. Game mode set to extreme difficulty
4. No HUD May be a compass (instead of the minimap) and only basic Info on weapon im holding and rounds
5. No unlimited reload. When you reload at 15 rounds you lose the 15 rounds.
6. Range finder is the only way to know the enemy distance
7. No enemy lock on sound alert(team would be walking down the street and just start to get sprayed) just the bullet direction indicator. (So we can atleast get a general direction)
8. Camo has effect ex) ghillie suit will be harder to detect than tshirt and jeans
I think if we get a mode like this I can play forever! .
One more thing Base takeover missions might be fun! (This can be a way for players to keep coming back)
I will kepl on adding as I think of more!

I've added all of you on PSN, and will carry on doing so to any more people who would like to join... this is an amazing experience and is definitely how the game should be played!! I now read all the posts about how people are bored, and they have nothing to do etc etc etc... And I look at them and think that they haven't even "played" the game to its potential!!
I'm by no means a "pro" and my stats will probably agree, but what I can say is that this game is arcade with these elements turned on... turn them off and it becomes something so much more!! I'm hooked and I'm now completely immersed in this beautiful game!!
