ANyone else had issues with enemies warping through walls while soloing legendary?

As the title says, I've seen this happen a few times now. I'll be pushing along, making progress on my solo run, when a enemy will either warp through the floor or a wall right next to me and melee-one shot. Soloing legendary is already enough of a challenge without this nonsense.

I'm starting to wonder if my install is corrupted, or if the Division is just afflicted with bugs.

I want to clarify that this isn't a case of a new wave of enemies spawning because I reached the threshold of the previous wave. I'm aware that some waves will spawn while there's still 1 or 2 enemies left to kill. I also know that new waves of enemies will sometimes come out of previously closed doors.

This is not what I'm experiencing when I saw that one of them warped through the floor or walls. I mean, literally, that an enemy doesn't obey they normal rules of the game and appears next to you out of thin air. I've even watched as one of them came walking up through the ground like a ghost.

Well I didn't have a Matrix Reloaded ghost effect through the floor, that's for sure. I'm certain though that he came through the wall and hit me from behind when he shouldn't have been able to get there. I know it wasn't a new wave either.

Edit: it's only happened once though.

To be fair don't enemies always appear out of thin air?

I've noticed at extractions in the DZ I will be crouched behind a wall waiting for the timer to countdown to zero and the rope to drop, and without fail about 20 seconds from the rope drop a squad of NPCs will suddenly morph through the floor or walk through a nearby wall and appear right by my flare position.

Now this may well be a peculiarity of the DZ, spawning them in to disrupt the extraction as it were, but if it can happen there then i would be surprised if it isn't happening elsewhere.

We all know by now that Massive's answer to difficulty levels is to throw more enemies at you on the blindside or rush you with a group of shotgunners, preferring quantity over quality, as if NPCs killing you cheaply is meant to feel fair and acceptable.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It really depends on the location of the spawn.

If you've noticed, sometimes ISAC will say "WARNING: Enemies approaching", and you'll get a new wave coming from somewhere outside your range of vision. If it's a mission, these guys will almost always come out of a locked door. Although in Legendary they get spawned out of thin air(like the heavy in the first breaker room of Time's Square). That guy literally doesn't exist until you approach the location.

Other times, usually in the open world of Dark Zone, enemies WILL just appear out of thin air. I once had an entire group of purple and yellow bar enemies spawn on top of me with a named boss. Needless to say I didn't survive.

But to get back to the OP: This is inside a Legendary mission. The spawn waves of enemies and their location is always the same. It's very easy to tell when something isn't working as intended. I mean....bad enough that shotgun guys work like snipers, and everything finishes you with the mighty one-shot elbow of ultmate prowess. We don't need teleporting badguys who can walk though walls too. The worst part is that they almost always appear in melee range, with the expected result.
