I feel like leveling up right now is kind of... pointless.
Will there be some kind of rewards for leveling up past the requirement for the high tier skills? (NVM LVL 30 is max)
I've always wanted a open world FPS style game besides ARMA 3 Mods. But I feel like as of right now, the story mode is keeping me busy. It will end soon and I feel like I've already reached a point where I've gained most of the weapons I want.
What is the end game and what did I pay for?
I know DLC has been announced and is planned for release. But Story/DLC is only small content for these open world FPS games goes only so far. Is there going to be a point to repeatedly collecting more resources? Reason for leveling up? Reason to buy more UbiSoft games? Because right now, I feel like I purchased an unfinished game riddled with bugs and no end game content.
Yeah I'm having buyers remorse.... so hard right now. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm seeing the end of the ride and it's ending much faster than I anticipated. But... since they advertised it as RPG style open world FPS... I thought there would be more content. But I guess I still got a solid 25 hours of game play left.Originally Posted by Zoream Go to original post
It's not RPG style... that would be the division.
This is a shooter with a small element of RPG, which is pretty much just to unlock skills.
There is no end game. This is just like any other game... play through and beat it and either quit or replay on harder difficulty and wait for DLCs and PVP patch. End game is mainly for MMOs and looters.
But I do understand where you are coming from. There's a huge open world and we all want more instead of it just ending once story missions are over.
Yea? Most likely it's just you. I'm still having fun playing single player playing at my own pace and taking pictures around - every night, mind you. I'm Day-1 buyer and still far away from reaching the end.
So yes, there are a lot of contents. But it's up to the players whether to use and appreciate them or not.
You can just shoot left and right, jump in jump out between sessions, and then suddenly it's 'the end' before you know it. But that's pretty much on you if you've ever found this game has 'so little content'. It's only almost 2 weeks since the game's being released, anyway.
PS: I've never seen they're advertising this game as RPG Open World FPS. It's not even FPS.
Huwhat? You paid for what you're playing right now. It's a game with a story such as assassins Creed or BioShock. Why do people keep throwing out words like endgame like this is WoW. You not paying for further content like a MMO. The content is sufficient enough to where if you don't rush through the story it's worth what you have paid already.Originally Posted by Rocket2Uranuz Go to original post
EXP/Skill system must be a new revolutionary concept Ubisoft added to the game. Being able to ADS isn't FPS i guess as well. Well you sir have blown my mind. This game is definitely have zero RPG/Open World/FPS features. This is a new genre.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
I felt like chiming in on the comment about "playing the game for the story". Wildlands has little to no story in it so if you were hoping to get a rich, involved story like in a game like bioshock or even assassins creed then maybe you should wait until Ubisoft releases their Avatar (And yes I mean the James Cameron avatar) game in the near future.
