The AI teammates are not THAT bad. Honestly, they just need to react better to you getting surrounded, and perhaps calling out guys a bit more. If you make them too smart, you don't necessarily have a challenge for yourself.

The sync shot is OP as hell right now as it is and I feel like that's one thing that needs a major nerf. I don't have to shoot once to clear a camp with that option.

The sync shot is not OP. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. You only get three sync shots max and there is still a cool down. Also alot of times it wont work cause you target a sniper on a tower and the AI cant figure out what to do. No nerfing is necessary with the sync shot. If there was a shorter cool down or no cool down at all, then I would agree with you but this is not the case

When you are able to clear an ENTIRE camp without firing a shot because all you did was ask your AI teammates to shoot for you and they NEVER miss, that's OP. Not to mention the fact they can shoot through walls, that's OP. I only say this because I've used it and I did my first run through of the game on extreme difficulty with only AI teammates so I could do it in the order I wanted to do things. Guess what, I stopped using my AI to help me after maybe a third of the game because there was no challenge in just telling them to shoot that dude over there because I may miss him if I shot him.

This was my experience, and I know players will not like my opinion because well... I prefer not having crutches that help me do things without doing nothing.

I forget what game it was. But I rember in old Clancy games you could break your team into pairs of two. Tell them what path to take. Have them breach doors, throw flash bangs etc. They were tactical shooters. This game is not.
I agree here completely. They do add something to the gameplay, but not enough. They are also almost too good in an all out gun battle and sync shot, but other than that, they don't add enough. I'd like to be able to give them more orders and/or position them.

If that is the tactic someone chooses to use and you are able to do it successfully, then that works for them. It does not mean that the sync shot is OP. The sync shot does not need to be touched. I myself only use it on sniper towers or to clear a path when I am trying to be stealthy. Again, its a usable tactic in the game and its a real capability that real operators train on. If you don't like to do it then you simply don't do it. If you don't want to clear an entire enemy camp this way....then don't do it. I respect your opinion on how YOU want to play the game but there is no valid point for the developers to even touch the sync shot option.

Don't want to use a certain tactic, then don't use it. That's the beauty of this game.
This game isn't exactly what I would consider a complete tactical shooter, but its moving in the right direction. Using your AI team to your complete advantage is not considered a crutch. This game genre encourages you to have complete command and use the best tactic to complete the mission with little set backs. Its not meant for you to one man army the entire game but you have that option if you prefer.

You are arguing two different points here. If the AI can shoot through walls and/or never miss, then yes that is OP, but to say that you can clear a site without firing a shot is not valid. If you play coop with three buddies, it is quite easy for you to not fire a shot and leave it to your three squad mates.

There is a difference between your AI's and your buddies. The AI's can't miss, while your buddies definitely can. Also, I'm sure the developers did not intend for any player at any level of experience to be able to use the AI's to do all the work. If you choose to use your actual friends to do all the work for you, that's a different issue that can't necessarily be solved because that's just how multiplayer is with people. However, we're talking about a single player co-op experience that I don't think the developers intended to have, but I could be wrong.

And yes, you can clear entire camps. I say this because I've done it myself. I stopped using the sync shot unless I absolutely needed to after about a third of the game in because I felt like the AI's were just making the experience a little too easy.

I'm not saying they should remove sync shot, I like it myself.

I honestly don't think it's a tactic that the developers intended on being there, but I could be wrong.

Listen, using a grenade launcher to take down a chopper is a usable tactic as well, but I feel grenade launchers are OP and it should take a bit more "skill" to hit the chopper with a grenade launcher in the first place.

You use whatever tactics you want, I'm just pointing out the ones I feel are too OP for those of us who actually want a challenge in the game.

This game isn't exactly linear. The developers intended to have the player complete the missions in any way the player saw fit. That's the point of a real tactical shooter, otherwise this game would be no different than the story mode for some Call of Duty trash.

Have you seen what a 40mm grenade does? If you managed to hit a helicopter with a 40mm grenade, I assure you that the bird is coming out of the sky at some point if not immediately. With that being said, no, the grenade launcher is not OP.

You are not pointing out things that are OP, you are just pointing out things that you simply do not like. Maybe you are in the wrong game and would prefer something much much less realistic. Maybe the division would be better for you.

I certainly have ideas for this.

    1. Have the squadmates update you whenever they're in position. For example, when I issue the "go to" order, I want my team to let me know when they've arrived. Someone can simply say, "We're in position."

    2. Have an option to control rules of engagement. I should be able to put my team on a "fire at will" order or a "fire if spotted" order, regardless if they are moving, regrouping, or holding their position.

    3. I should be able to order them to use suppressors or go loud.

    4. I should be able to order individual squadmates or the entire team if I choose. I may want to individually position each squadmate in different positions.

    5. There should be some sort of "breach and clear" options for buildings and other interior environments.

    6. I should be able to customize the clothing and loadouts (but at least the clothing) of my squadmates. This would further help with immersion.

All these are things I wish Wildlands enabled me and all single-player gamers to do. How awesome would it be to have this level of control and immersion in a beautiful, open-ended open-world game like this?
I agree. sync shoot should inklud to disarm alarm not only peoples too.
Point 2 and 5 i have wanted from the close and open beta. These two i hop you can fix easy.
    7. Hold en defend that area

Keep up the good work Love the game can´t wait to play it again.( I´m on work right now)
