20-30 FPS with Asus GTX 1080 at 1280X720 on LOW SETTINGS!!! | Forums

I know people have posted about this in a few other threads but good God! Really, this is ridiculous and it needs attention.

My specs:

i7-2600K @ 4.8ghz turbo (water-cooled)
Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 (latest 378.78 Game-ready driver- previous drivers also same result)
32gb RAM
Samsung 850 EVO SSD
Windows 10 64 (up-to-date with anniversary update)



Actually, 30-40 FPS looks like 10 FPS

For those who are having low FPS using Nvidia Geforce cards, this has so far worked for me:

Roll back the driver to 378.49 here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/drive...x/114351/en-us if you are using the new 378.78 driver.

I was experiencing atrocious frame rates in the low-to-mid 20s at low resolution and low settings with a GTX 1080. Now the game seems to be performing well. It seems to have also taken care of the controller connected/disconnected issue. Hope this helps some people.
