    i may be a bit bias due to maining warlord, however im pretty good at being objective.

    warlords all block is useless now, i never use it unless by accident (which sucks because it then causes a several second delay on stamina regeneration not to mention the cost of activation). even without the hard hit to stamina, its so slow its no longer a way to break chains mid combo...if a zerker is going nuts on me, the game will not allow me to go into all block to break the combo, which was really the whole point of all block stances in the first place. so that skill is gone.

    warlords attacks, he only has 3, really. zone, which is decent...not as fast as some (PK and warden) and his lights are decently quick, though i think even shugokis side lights are faster than warlords (logic? 30 pound kanabo is faster than 2.5 pound viking sword?). then he has his thrust after a headbutt which does about 1/2 a bar, so fairly weak for even a light attack. last is his over head heavy which he can only ever land off of a guard break...other characters can do WAY more damage than warlords over head heavy off GB...hell, look at the total damage of PKs stabs of doom...makes warlords heavy look like a light attack.

    combos? heavy light or light heavy...hardly ever used, warlord is mostly a 1 hit type of character as even in combo his attacks are slow and overly telegraphed making them easy to block if not parry.

    as far as defense...well...yea he has a shield but really it doesnt block any better really than anyone else. his light shield counters are pretty much useless, the timing is slightly harder than a normal parry, and far less rewarding as a parry gives you a GB+heavy vs just landing a light with the counter, so thats pretty much never used either.

    his headbutt...most warlords i see dont spam it, as its fairly easy to dodge, and most people will snag you with a GB if they dodge it, which they will if you use it more than twice in a row for sure (or at least should). i will say the stam cost should be higher, and the hitbox needs to be fixed because i have hit people with it at stupid ranges before. only time i personally ever spam headbutt is when its 2 v 1 and the other player gets revenge off, at which point i just use it to keep disrupting them while the other player does damage...3 or 4 v 1s i just walk away...i get hit by more team mates swings than anything else which drives me nuts lol

    his throw distance is the only thing i would like to see nerfed...it should only be maybe 3-4 feet once he stops the push, not 3-4 yards...

    he does get uninterruptible once his heavy is halfway through a swing, however parry still works...and i find i can only ever get a straight heavy off if my opponent also is throwing one and he gets a chance to have the uninterruptible to activate, at which point its just a trade, once which most often, in terms of damage done, i find the warlord on the losing end of. a heavy from any of the 2 handed classes is far more damaging, so really this is just a closing tactic to finish someone off when i know i have enough life to survive their hit and that i will finish them off with mine.

    im not really sure, other than the throw distance and maybe more stam cost for headbutt and fixed hitbox, could be nerfed on warlord without him becoming utterly unusable all together.

    Warlord as of this patch is the bashing conq has (but better and faster) and the normals that warden can dish out (also better because super armor on heavies). Hes the most tanky hero in the lineup while also having the best moveset that is good in any situation. In 4v4 hes nearly unstoppable with the right gear build, get an all defense set and watch as you take less than half damage with your damage reduction perk and have more health than any other hero. Add in a revenge set with attack and watch as people get chain knocked down repeatedly with the insta bash headbutt. That headbutt is just pure bull with how fast it comes out and it gives a free poke. Not even LB gets a poke with his.

    People cry about conq/warden, but WL is 10x worse if someone knows how to abuse him.

    Also PK is also busted and should be looked at too.

    Warlord is not 10 times worse than conqueror and warden. The second HB is easier to punish than the second shield bash or shoulder charge. All three however are problematic. Those are character balance issues that can be worked out - but if they don't fix the "art of battle" core system it will be pointless.

    You're all welcome for wasting your time . I wanted to screw around with cry babies, so I chose a controversial topic to do so. Everything I said was only to trigger these cry babies, nothing I actually believed in, so thanks for the laughs
