    A solution

If you really want to nerf the Warlord because of his ability to spam the headbutt, then Ubisoft should just add a 3-4 second cool down to his headbutts. In that case, you'd have to add the same nerf to the conqueror's shield bash to balance it out.

The WL's headbutt is the primary source of complaints, and for good reason. It comes out quickly, it's is a little hard to dodge as a result, and it guarantees free damage when it lands. I've also seen video of the hit detection being buggy and hitting someone who somehow dodged backwards too soon...lol. And naturally, like with any bash or grab attack (Demon's Embrace and Long Arm), headbutt spam can make 3/4v1s a nightmare.

The problem is headbutt spam as well. Same with long arm spam in team games. There are several abilities that need a tweak. I don't know how to fix it but the end result should do two things.

    1. Make it harder to spam the moves
    2. Tweak the moves so they all have a balanced amount of risk.

Those moves however are also a result of the core game being slightly broken. Heavy attacks are too risky and parry too rewarding, even many light attacks are too risky. So you do the safe thing.

Long Arm has plenty of risk in 1v1s. 4v4 is where an crowd control or disruption abilities become *extremely* useful (the Shugoki's Demon's Embrace being the most effective of all).

Yes I agree, long arm is well balanced for 1v1. The crowd control in 4v4 is just too disruptive. I don't know if a damage shield in 4v4 would work, so that when you're in the long arm animation you cannot take damage. That's how it works in 1v1 really. Same with the embrace, impale etc.

To me, it makes absolutely no sense for the Warlord to get a nerf. The warlord can easily get destroyed by a decent Peacekeeper or a Beserker. The Warlord's attacks are way too slow to combat the Beserker's and the Peacekeeper's speed. Not to mention, the Peacekeeper has bleed damage and the Beserker does significantly more damage in his attacks than the Warlord, at least with gear stats off. If you don't believe me, experiment with it. Get the Beserker to do an overhead heavy. You'll guaranteed kill at least a quarter of the opponent's health, regardless of the person's class.

Can you imagine if your main, which you spent weeks on levelling out WITHOUT exploiting/spamming, got nerfed and became unplayable, forcing you to retreat into another hero and re-start the game having thrown away all you progress? I can, and it doesn't sound "fun" to me. I'd probably stop playing and give up on Ubisoft, even thought I've been a fan since Rainbow Six Vegas Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and currently own Rainbow Six Siege and obviously, For Honour.

    Thank you.

You would give up on ubisoft just because of they dished out a well deserved nerf to a character that you happened to play?? Really? ok then.....

If he does get nerfed why don't you just play him anyway and not be a quitter?
You said you played him without exploiting and spamming his moves right? So you should have no problem post nerf because they will most likely only be nerfing his exploitable and spammable moves, right?

The lawbringer is known for being basically the worst character in the game. Did that stop me from playing him? No! I use him no matter the label of "unplayable" or "not viable"..
I also enjoy playing the warden and used to play the peacekeeper. Both of those characters are likely going to be nerfed because of everyone's complaints. Will I stop playing them and give up on ubisoft because of said nerf? No! It'll actually make me want to play as them more to show that even though this character may not be considered "OP" (Anymore) I can still whoop you any day with em.

PSA: Did you know you can block the poke that follows a headbutt? It has no indicator, but it happened to me several time. I was getting heabutted by a warlord and the poke made the ''Ching'' sound of metal colliding against metal, and I recieved no damage. I do not know how I did this though, but it can be blocked. I can't find any post that does confirm nor explain how to do it consistently. But I must not be the only one to whom it happened.
    Anyone?

Found something else to be a nightmare where if Warlord shields up and do either I think a zoning attack or heavy where he side slashes with his sword and shield and has super armor while he is in his shield guard. If I try to feint and go for a guard block I get hit by it, it's too fast to try and throw out another hit, and on top of that you still can't hit his shield with lights or heavies because it will just open a person up for an opportunity headbutt.
