    A New Goal

I'll just jump straight into it, but first, this idea derives from the "Nemesis" mechanic in Diablo: Reaper of Souls:

Let's say you complete about a hundred weekly (or daily) HVT assignments cumulatively. WHAT IF there was a special assignment that pops up where Benitez radios you alerting that you're now an HVT yourself, a Hunter's HVT who would attack you at some point during your future activities. He could arrive during a wave in a Hard or Challenging mission, or he could arrive while you're strolling through the Dark Zone. Obviously his/her health, damage, and skills would scale with your group size, but the premise here is the Hunter is simply a reward for being a dedicated Contract Killer among the Division.

Imagine, you're with your pal running Lexington for that sweet, sweet MDR when suddenly, you enter the room where Larae stands ready for your arrival. You begin the fight and kill your way through until you finally assassinate Larae. But, she doesn't drop her loot, instead ISAC alerts you of an incoming, high-threat hostile.
The arena goes silent and an EMP blast swathes across the landscape, shutting the whole place down. From the entrance your team used to engage Larae stomps in a fully-loaded Hunter, ready to take you and your teams' lives. His power would be just enough to compete with a full team, easily ripping through agents in two or three shots and eating whole magazines without taking too much damage. He would be an over-powered destroyer that requires all available agents to attack at once with tact. (Although, a competent DeadEYE build and a good tank would probably do the trick.)

Maybe the amount of Hunters can scale depending on your group size, like in Survival, and their gear scales with you and your teams' gear scores. Who knows? There are plenty of ways to go about this.

Now, if you kill the Hunter(s), he/she drops a special camo called "Serpent - Asp." This is a jet black, scaly camo that sends the message to on-lookers that you have bested the Hunter that sends for you after completing a plethora of the hardest possible HVT missions.

Here could be another kicker, you must complete maybe fifty or seventy HVT's entirely solo. (I mean, they're easy enough with 1.6.)

What do you think? Comment to promote this and maybe Ubisoft can do this little thing that would be so cool!

I actually like this idea would give people a reason to do hvts. Maybe the hunter could increase in difficulty say every 50 hvts completed.

I do like the idea of more hunter involvement. Not sure about it popping up mid mission because they weren't part of the hvt and it could pee people off when interfering with their daily missions.

Some dude is on his 159th play through of Lexington for the vest and your hunter pops up? 😒

What if they attacked the BoO or something? Or a random safehouse endangering civilians. You have to get there, no fast travel, before they gain entry. If you don't get there the safe house is out of commission for 24 hrs due to hunter damage. The BoO attack affects the vendors?

I definitely think the idea of you becoming an HVT hunted by the factions is great.

I remember Fallout 3 had a similar system.

I'll never forget walking out of a building somewhere on the map as being attacked by a group trying to cash a bounty on me...i had been slaughtering traders in the wasteland and stealing all their stuff.

Luckily for me I had that alien ray gun at the time, the one from the U.F.O crash site?

    Remember that?

The player already is the game's HVT. Ever notice, when you arrive at a point where 2 factions are fighting, they both immediately attack you?

What would be cool, if all S&D's and HVT's would just be on the map at all times, on a spawn timer, and the artificial mechanic and currency were removed.
