Have had this issue for weeks now.

That's the error I receive when trying to log in to Ubi via email.
My favorite mobile game has abandoned me.

I've been getting the same error message. I opened a support ticket but just got a worthless prewritten response, then another worthless prewritten response.

Hello Ubi? Anyone out there? Your message telling us to quit the game and log in DOES NOT WORK.

I'm logged in and can see my friends. HOWEVER, I cannot connect to give or receive gifts or do a showdown. I get messages on my device telling me that I just received a gift and your spinners in the Gift Box spin and spin.

Same in the bunker.

I can connect about 1-2 times per week.

I'm ready to quit playing.

Is this the black screen with red error message? Are you using some form of auto-complete when entering your username or password? If so, try typing things in manually.

iOS auto-complete adds an extra/hidden character which will screw up your login attempt. This will trigger the black/red screen of death. If you are successful when typing in manually, you can still use auto-complete...you just need to press the delete key once to remove the extra/hidden character before clicking the log in button.

I'm a bit surprised that the login mechanism doesn't use some form of trim() operation to remove invalid characters/whitespace. But then again...

I placed a support ticket with UBI. The response was, "This issue has been forwarded up to the development team for further review." That's pretty stupid for a problem that's been going on since the last upgrade. Playing this game is becoming more irritating than fun.

I also don't understand why I get a notification that someone gave me a gift... I log in immediately... and the game can't connect to UBI. How does it know I received a gift but then can't connect? Huh?!
