    Hoping for a Hardcore mode

    Hello everyone,
I think this game needs what I would call a hardcore mode. Mainly a revamp with how ammo and kit selection works. First ammo is plentiful as it stands now. Rearming at dead enemies should only work if the weapon they were carrying has magazines that would work with any of your currently carried weapons. As it stands now I never run out of ammo because every single corpse will hook you up with all the goodies you desire to put deep into their friends. This also makes various weapons seem useless right now. Why would I ever select my sidearm when I have two fully loaded primaries ready to dish out death at a faster rate? This would also help make ammo crates actually useful and on to my second point, we should only be able to change our load out at these ammo/rearming crates. In my opinion it seems kind of lame to be able to switch to any one of the dozens of weapons on the fly. I also think that we need an actual magazine system implemented, I just hate pools of ammunition that you magically dip your magazine in to completely refill your weapon with a fresh bundle of bullets. This is a game design that I've never understood why developers continue to implement because it largely ignores one of the fundamental design aspects of weapons, and that is magazine capacity. Why should I choose a weapon that has less stats but larger magazine size when I could just negate that offset by a one and a half second reload? Honestly though I really enjoy this game these are just a few little things I was thinking that this game should have... So go ahead and put these in the game Ubi, Ill wait...

First starters. If you don't like the ability to switch on the fly, don't use it. However since our AI teammates are worthless, its nice being able to switch to light machine gun for choppers and whatnot. Dead guys don't give you ammo. Pistol is great for being silent. Most rifles can still be heard if a enemy is near by.

Turn off hud and markers. Play on extreme and don't switch on fly

Huh, I am not sure you actually read my post. I did not say anything about hud and markers. For the record I do play on extreme with everything off. All I am saying is it would be nice to have the option to turn on this "hardcore" mode I posted about so don't give me the don't use it statement. And yes, you DO pick up ammo from corpses/weapons. If you are creeping through an installation you do not run out of ammo.

    Hey Yibby,

Thanks for the perspective and break down! I know players are looking for new ways to adjust difficulty.
