Pretty much everyone gears the same way because revenge is powerful and the sacrifices made for it are marginal. I think to allow for more viable and build some of the stats should be moved and the common dump stats changed to more useful or at least more appealing options.

Blade/Head: Attack, Defense, Stamina is a good mix that allows for variety and will be used as the archetype.

Suggested Changes:
Guard/Shield/Pommel: Revenge Defense (moved), Revenge Attack, Feat/Renown gain* (Changed from Feat Cooldown)
Hilt/Shaft/Handle/spike: Revenge Gain on Defense, Revenge Gain on Injury (moved), Enemy Revenge gain** (Changed from Throw)

* Increase Renown gain to get feats faster
** Decreased contribution to enemy revenge meter to make enemy gain revenge slower

I think with a setup like this, there's at least some incentive to go with something other than a full revenge build.
