we don't need more games with micro transactions for all the lazy people that cant just play the game appropriately and find and unlock gear like the game intended.Originally Posted by heyyoulol324 Go to original post
Why do you care so much about how other people play their game. They pay their money for it and if they want to drop extra money on it to speed up the process for them why should it matter to you. You play the game your way let them player their game their way. This game is 100% PvE with or without co-op. It's not like someone can do a micro transaction and pay to get better weapons for PvP. Honestly if your playing co-op with someone wouldn't you want them to be better equipped.Originally Posted by tmc8912 Go to original post
And this make Ubisoft richer, and encourage them to put more and more microtransactions, again and again. Intergrating a Free 2 Play mechanic into AAA full price game.Originally Posted by guineapig71 Go to original post
It's not about "how other people choose to play". It's by principle. These kind of microtransaction should not be in the game.
Not only it conforts you in your laziness (well lazy people that said), but it removes gameplay elements, goals / objectives, etc from the game itself that you woud've otherwise played.
It doesn't take 200 hours to unlock all of the guns and parts btw.
In the end you pay to play less ? In a game that you already paid full price ? Supporting an abusive economic model.
It is all about supply and demand. If consumers wants it, then they will buy it. If not, then it will no longer be offered. There is no such thing as an "abusive economic model", when such purchases are not required to complete said game.Originally Posted by FR_Player-One Go to original post
In respect to removing game play elements/goals/objectives. If a consumer want's to foregone an aspect of the game for a quick fix, so be it. I really don't see the point in doing so, because that is the whole point of playing the game. But to each is own.
This whole "nanny state" mentality is the problem. Not the free market.
This was my thinking at first but upon completion noticed some items exclusive to the store.Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
Usually this doesn't bother me but it seemed to strike me as odd in Wildlands, Even upset me a bit.
The game has it's flaws but it's accomplishments are astounding making the transaction practices seem out of place.
It has plenty to offer and the addition of more skins and weapons would've made me that more open to buying additional ones.
Asking for Real Money for Exclusives on Launch was off putting.
Just Like the Season Pass I never buy into..
I'm Torn about a 40$ Purchase that the Developers have no details on. At the Same time, It would make sense to know what you're in for with a hefty price.
These Practices Alienate me, I sit in the corner waiting for sales or at least enough information to justify spending another game's worth.
Not that I don't enjoy Widlands enough to support it, quite the contrary. I will be replaying it even. Just don't understand the practices.
So I Agree, Not too big into them.
If they fix the game first, then they can add additional payed content. Before, Ubi should not waste resources for such things. Moreover, this must be in their own interest, because I can imagine, that nearly no one is buying the Seasons Pass. For what? Another 60 minutes of fun per DLC? Not worth it and considering the disappointing content in Division DLC's wont help either I suppose.Originally Posted by heyyoulol324 Go to original post
