I know that they adressed this issue already and that is propably going to be fixed in the new patch but i still wanted to know if there is anything i can try to do now to fix the problem. I know that one way to fix it is to move the save folder to another hard drive or ssd but i only have 1 Hdd. Is there something else that i can try or will i have to wait till the patch comes out because at the current state its kind of unplayable

No you can do anything....except having a ssd to play the game on...even people with ssd have problems...

Try moving your uplay folder to another drive. This fixed the problem for me, and reportedly for others too.
