Alright, now this one is really pissing me off. I've had this happen to me before with Ubisoft games like Far Cry 3, (my favorite game of all time btw) where ill log probably 100 hours into the game and then for some reason i try to launch the game and it asks for the CD, and won't start until I put the CD key in. but, steam has always popped up a window with the games CD key. Now, yesterday, I just bought Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and I've been playing it practically nonstop now since I bought it. I have 9 hours into it already and ive owned the game for just over 24 hours. Now, all of the sudden, I'm trying to launch the game, and it''s asking me for a CD key. The game won't launch unless i put in a CD key, and its not telling me what the god damn CD key is. I can't play the ****ing game unless i put in a CD key, and it's not even telling me what the CD key i need to put in is. This is garbage. I paid 60 dollars for a game that I've only played 9 hours into and now i've been locked out of the game? What? Please help.
Let me guess, steam version right? The only thing I can suggest is to right click the game in your steam library and there should be an option to "View CD Key". If that option does not appear, than I suggest you contact costumer support (I recommend both Steam and Ubisoft's customer support). Forums are not much help in situations like this.
