God vision if thats what were calling it now is a trait for all Ubi open world games, Want open world then you need to put up with sub par AI - Thats the trade off.

I play on extreme, and my primary set up is a machine gun, and a sniper rifle, with a really quite pistol.

Near the end of the game I took a lot of bases going full beast mode with the machine gun.
    Rules :
    - Make sure you set your guys to attack, make sure you clear everything in and dont allow anything to get behind you
    - Mine the road as you come up it to handle reinforcements (just remember not to drive back out)
    - Use the vision perk when it is up
    - Play smart, if you get hit once, sit and wait for your health to come back
    - Use your items, flashbangs are really handy, the 203 is a beast
    - Dont be scared to jump in a vehicle and let your boys do some work while you regain health if good cover isnt near by.
    - Dont be scared to fall back. (You are retreating you are fighting in another direction)

Maybe play on a lower difficulty.
Why isnt this a valid response? Some people just shouldnt play on some game modes. This isnt real life, not everyone should be able to do everything.

I don't know why people keep saying this... "GRW is boring, there is nothing to do in the open world, bad story, bad AI," yadda, yadda, yadda...

This is NOT GTA, you are not simulating banging w**res or pimping rides or BF, COD or whatever...

Play this at extreme and you will have a challenge and a solid Ghost Recon experience...

You can get close to enemies in Extreme mode.

Are there times when you never fire a shot, are prone and not in line of site of a single enemy and go into suspected or hunted state? Yes, that happens.

But there is a lot of exaggeration about how you can't do anything without enemies spotting you.

You've missed the point it's not about you cant do anything it's when an enemy spots you the whole outpost or base everysingle one in it instantly knows your exact location and have insane accuracy when firing.

Back the O/P point. Yup I agree that they have some form of god mode on. I especially love the way you can use an EMP drone to take out a generator whilst sat behind a rock, in a bush, wearing a Ghillie suit, 200mtrs away from the enemy and still have the enemy know where you are exactly.

I also love using sync shot only to see my AI team mates effortlessly shoot enemies through entire buildings, even funnier when I was in a mine tunnel and they sync shot through the hillside.
Don't mind Swifty, Homer. He is a troll. Just look at his profile and read his responses to other threads. Earlier this week, he was in a thread that I made on the same subject, making the same type of baseless conjecture. Best to just ignore him.

I play with a Sniper and LMG and manage to hold my own pretty well on Extreme Difficulty.
I usually pick off snipers and lookouts from a distance with my HTI(I know MSR is better anti-infantry, but throwing around.50 BMG rounds just feels sooo good!), and then proceed to scout the area with the drone and then storm the area with the LMG, moving from cover to cover. I use my M9 for stealth mission and to eliminate patrols on the outskirts while I move into position.
Sometimes I will even sneak to a defensible position, like the roof of a multi-story building and mine the entrance and just go loud.

Hell, you can stay far away from a camp and send a mortar on the enemy and somehow they know where you are.

    Its ridiculous.

And if the enemy is on "hunting mode" they cant see you throught vegetation but if they are openly engaging you they can, to an extent.
