    Ideas for additional PvP game modes

    Im excited for the 4v4, but it has got me thinking about the potential this game has for wide open pvp.

    Personally I think they should totally separate the PvP aspect from the game lore. This would allow for rewards that may not fit the story. (I.e types of clothing, attachments that change stats in different ways)

    I'd really like to see something like a mode where it's team based (similar to the dark zone) where people compete for intel or high value targets. I think this would bring some life to the world and make use of the maps vast openess.

    With all shooters now going for max PVP count I'm looking forward to a much more intimate 4v4 match-up.

    I want some real bare-bones team oriented gameplay.

    Strip all the crap and lets go.

    I agree I think the 4v4 will be great and I hope there are some tactical game modes as I imagine there will be.

    I'd just like to see them use the large land mass that is Bolivia, but totally agree with the 4v4.

    Yeah I get where you're coming from.
    If they were to implement larger scaled maps they'd have to focus the gamepley more.
    The last thing you'd want is players not encountering each other.
    I've no doubt some of the boffins at Ubisoft could pull this off though!

    Totally agree, I wish they could take the good of the divisions dark zone and implement those ideas into this setting. Obviously this would be in addition to the competitive 4v4.

    I hope that they can use the whole map for that but I doubt it because of the draw distances. I wonder what would happen if your were camped behind a bush with your rifle thinking your safe, but everyone can see you because the bush is not rendered on their screen from their distance haha that is if they can even shoot through the bush in the first place...

    I agree the draw distances are a huge limitation. The division was pretty good but lower draw bc of urban setting. Also youre right those Kevlar bushes are always a surprise lol I'd be happy if they even used a province or part of for like a weekly conflict zone where you compete with people for Intel and objectives for rewards.

    Unfortunately from the information what I did read, PVP will be limited to specific locations. Weapon class restricted by creator. and completely separate from main lobby/story .

    And to be honest, I could not care much about PVP any way

    There should be game modes with bigger maps and longer match times. Should take advantage of the large map....

    It could be something like Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising's "Infiltration" game mode where a team has to destroy an objective (or multiple) in a 1 square kilometer map or eliminate all the enemy resistance within 35-45-50min time period.
    8v8 at the bare minimum optimally 12v12 (maybe 16v16)
    Would have restricted spawns/only a set number of spawns per player/team or just one life depending on difficulty settings.

    Escape and Evade game mode where a larger team searches for a smaller team in a large area, (6v12 8v16 etc...) evading team wins if they remain unfound after a certain time or maybe if they get to a extraction zone (so long as it was random in such a way the other team couldn't easily know where it was going to be given the point they spawned in/number of options of the extraction zone locations)

    CSAR Combat search and rescue game mode a team has to infiltrate an enemy area and destroy a downed aircraft after which they have to escape the area.
    Hostage rescue a team has to rescue a hostage/High-Value Target and escape the area without being killed or captured. (In this game mode, the defending team can capture the attackers if an attacker surrenders they can avoid being killed

    HVT game mode an attacking team would have to kill a high valued target that the defending team was protecting. The HVT could either be in a secure compound/building or on moving from one place to another. Game mode verity could have the attackers either have to kill or capture the HVT the defenders would not know which one it was. If it was HVT they would have to extract them while evadeing the enemy team like the hostage mode.

    For the 4v4 (6v6 or 8v8 as options)
    Have a game mode where each player has one life and there is an attacking and defending team that has to defend or destroy 2 objectives within a certain time period on smaller maps (essentialy something like Rainbow 6, or Counter Strike) forced game chat would be good as well.

    On bigger Game modes/larger teams have a chat system where all players are in game chat within each 4 man squad, and with the press of a button they can chat with any of the other squads.

    This was one of the great dark zone features that isn't Incorporated enough. Having a mode where there were multiple teams of 4 all vying for some objective, and deciding to work together but with the added ability of deception. Basically some type of 4v4v4v4 mode.
