You have to dodge in the direction of incoming attack just as it's about to hit you. Then you quickly press light attack and voila.

I think you can see how it's done in hero menu > How To Fight > advanced video

Dodge in the direction of the attack at the same time you would usually parry (quick tip, when the indicator flashes, this is when you parry/deflect) and light attack IMMEDIATELY after. Any later and you will do a normal light. Riposting stab isn't particularly effective though. It's only useful against classes where parry -> GB doesn't work 100% (ie. Nobushi, Kensei because of their long range)

Its a nice move but the damage is not worth the effort if you ask me.

Zerker and orochi have by far the better options after a deflect.

I don't really disagree, but did this comment really have much of a place in this thread?

Sure. It was related to the skill.

The other posters already described how the move works. I only pointed out, that this move is useless on the pk, because the reward for the risk is too low. After a parry, you can either land a gb-stab combo or a heavy-light combo - both are equally safe, easier to use (cause parrying is likely trained), deal far more damage or open up new tactical options. Even the standard dodge attack, wich is safer to use, does more damage.

The pks deflect attacks are quite useless. While it is good to know how the tech works, it is useless on the pk.

When I play assassins I end up deflecting a lot by accident.

It's never a bad thing to get free damage for not doing anything on purpose.

It's more like "Deflect?! Cool thanks! STAB!"

Fair enough. Thanks for not getting bent by my question =)

The PK is the worst of teh 3 (sadly the cockroach has a better one.)

Zerker has the best since theirs has the potential to OHK, throw (which also causes damage), knockdown(if exhausted), and wall stun. It only becoms the worst deflect in open areas (aka no walls or hazards).

Cockroach deflect deals 25 damage right off the bat. The heavy version is situational but deals 50 damage. Which you can use off certain moves that have horrible recovery.

PK? A deflect that only deals 24 damage over what? 8 seconds? Yeah it's a joke. I would rather replace her deep gouge and riposte bleeds with something else. Something that's actually useful.

Oh and if you want another reason as to not use it. Warden's with thick blood feat make it even more useless.

I'd rather PK have one bleed move (like valk) and treat it like bonus damage. Then the rest of her kit is focused on something else.

As a PK main I have to agree and disagree with you, yes, the damage is pretty low, but it puts the pressure on. PK is already pretty strong and if you buff the deflect, no one really wants to fight her, since she can just spam you and if you attack you just get deflected. If you dodge too early you can always get a side step attack with an other bleed after that. PK can also parry you and get a GB in some cases that deal 31 bleed damage and if you hit them into the wall after the second stab you get a free forward dash attack with an other 15 bleed making the damage a total of 61 DAMAGE (Almost 2.5 bars). Peacekeeper is a powerfull class with a lot of possibilities and she shouldn't be taken lightly. Also I don't know when to end a paragraph, just deal with it ok?!?! Anyhow, this would make the PK more OP and more people will call me cancer if I use these attacks, that's all folks. (PK is bae)
