    Stuck in First Gear!

None of my friends have experienced this issue; however, when I drive a vehicle it is always stuck in first gear. The only way I can get the vehicle to shift gears is to let off the gas for a second and then hit the gas again.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

My friends laugh at me, and are constantly asking me if I'm shifting when I am the driver.

No, because there are no gears. It just speeds up or slows down.

What platform are you on? Using the hair trigger setting on the Xbox One Elite controller is known to cause issues with vehicle speed.

Ya try turning off any hair trigger or trigger sensitivity settings you may have. Except for people using the hair triggers or other modded controllers, I have never heard of someone not being able to accelerate a vehicle.

It happens to me, too. It's as if the game is limiting our speed based on the layout of the road, but we can override it by letting off the gas and pressing it again.

I just have the regular Xbox controller that came with the system on release, nothing special.

Hey wasabi-guy - Can you confirm if you are playing on XB1?

We have noted in our known issues that some users are experiencing slow driving speeds on Xbox One. We are currently investigating this issue.

If you are using an Elite Controller, we recommend you to download the Xbox Accessories App and adjust the analog curve for the triggers to allow them to reach full speed.
