    Combos.....they have me baffled!

Hi guys, Ok so I freely admit to being a noob in this game - can someone please explain to me how on earth combos work?

I'm playing Lawbringer in the story mode and its telling me to do the Judge Jury and Executioner combo which is LMB, RMB, RMB

So I click those buttons...nothing seems to happen :/ Am I doing something wrong? How do I know if I've pulled the combo off? Is there a timing aspect to clicking the buttons - if so what?

    .....I don't get it

.....please help 'cos at the moment I'm a button mashing idiot hoping for the best!

    Thanks

You have to watch the visuals of your attacks and time the next swing accordingly.

It's not just spam the buttons in the correct order and the combo will happen, it's press the attacks as the visuals of the attacks appear on screen so you CREATE a full combo.

    Hope that helps.

Ok thanks I kinda understand what you mean and had a feeling it wasn't as easy as clicking the right buttons in the right order, but how do I know if I've actually done the combo successfully...is it when I start glowing orange?

assuming this is light>heavy>heavy, yes it's when the "unblockable" aura happens.

another way to tell, if you are using a part of a combo that doesn't have an unblockable aspect to it is that the weapon will glow and leave behind a faint blue trail as the attack animation plays.

    THAT'S WHAT THAT IS?!

from day 1 it never occurred to me that it was just a chain indicator.

Yeah, I found this out when I went on to play the Peacekeeper in the Sabotage - I was much more successful chaining moves together with this champion, the timing was a lot easier to gauge!
