I have started a new game on the second save slot and i ran into a problem. I can't open the weapon cases i opened in the first game slot. How can i solve this problem? Do you have the same problem? Thanks for you help.

If you don't mind my inquiry; did you already beat the game with your first character?

I had to delete my character and start over to fix this issue.

This will happen even if you do not beat the game on your first character. I believe it has something to do with starting the mission leading to Rescue Amaru (or whatever the name is) but not finishing it, and then joining a coop game with someone who has passed that part, it seems it will lock you out of gun cases and gun accessories.
