Game fails to load from Uplay GUI | Forums

Looking for solutions to remedy the following problem:

Select the Games Menu:
Clicking on PLAY icon for Ghost Recon:
Game Post Image loads onto the Centre of monitor for 3-5 sec:
Game closes:
Uplay advertising popup apears:

The same issue occurs with Assasins Creed Brotherhood and Assasins Creed III
but have NO problems loading Farcry Primal and The Division.
All Drivers are up to date including Win 10,
Have tried rolling back Video Drivers,
Some posts have suggested uninstalling Uplay with folder deletion then reinstalling Uplay with no sucess.
Have tried Microsoft FIXIT
Have reinstalled DX
and last but not least verified all files in Uplay menus and reinstallation of all games.

Base system is Win10 64bit
32meg mem
GTX 1070 OC8M Strix
I54850
Nvidia Driver 378.78
no hardware is OC manually

Yep this started today for me as well. Just sits on the first (guy with the chopper) splash screen with the spinning icon but never starts up.
