So... that was it?
First of all, did anyone else find it bizarre that the game pushes you to the ending even though you haven't even explored half the map or attacked half the cartel? Feels a bit like the game admitting "hey, we know the repetition in this game is so painful, we are just going to fast track you to the end.
Second - a story ending focused on Karen Bowman? Really? This is a character we know so little about, and don't even interact with outside of 30 second exposition dumps that setup missions. And yet both the non-100% and the 100% ending are all focused on her? That felt a bit frustrating. What about the people of Bolivia? The Ghosts? etc?
Being able to beat the game half way through felt cheap.
Focusing the ending on Bowman felt like the player was cheated.
The endings sum up the entire experience for me - just strange, bizarre, and confusing.
What did you guys think?
I thought it was weird that you could do the last boss missions after clearing one branch. I purposely didnt do that mission, and clear the rest of the game before hand before do it. I then had to beat the boss back to back to see the other ending lol.
Its weird, and I dont understand the reason for allowing you access to the main boss without al the other bosses cleared.
I do agree that even though her friend ended up being slightly corrupt (black knight) for blowing up the embassy, it is weird that the story was completely about her in the first ending. The second one is still about her, but almost opens the door to a sequel or sorts.
