There's 8 of them in total but only 7 have been found, we're having trouble finding the last one. We know there's 8 because there is a rock circle found at the first one and every time you pick one up it gets added to a plot on the rock circle.

Im guessing a bug keeps us from finding the last one. I found mine only because I knew its location. Several statues didnt spawn when I first arrived and had to restart the game and go back.

No one knows for sure why they are there. Some say it unlocks a Yeti.
