Looking to immerse myself in this game.. It's impossible being stuck in 3rd person.. so fake following a character who can see around everything. Inside buildings it's horrible! Friggin run into everything and cant see. Driving would be so much better and challenging in first person!
Please!! I'll pay anything for a battlefield style view with this great of a game!

And yes, I know there are a ton of fps games, but none are like a "skyrim world WITH friends" like wildlands is

Considering that Ghost Recon has been a 3ed person shooter since day one I don't think that will ever change. First person should be an option for people like you who want to play 3ed person.

Pretty sure there was a version of GR:AW that was 1st person (PC) and another that was 3rd (xbox360). though I may be wrong...

As far as I remember you have always had the option to put it into first person. However it was just a centerized view with the aiming recticle in the center of the screen. The 1st person view option was never prioritized or optimized for performance.

nar ,not perma first person, just give an option for it in PvE but force third person in PvP

WTF is it with people trying to "immerse themselves in the game"? Does real life suck that bad where you just wanna get lost in video game land? Seriously....i hate to break it to you, but you're not a Ghost. It's a video game for entertainment purposes. When it comes to immersion, wait about 60 years for the legit virtual reality. This is about as immersive as its gonna get on console/PC in 2017. As far as first person only goes.....good luck with making that happen almost 2 weeks after release.

Best option would be GTA V style imo, high quality FPP and TPP.

I'd love to have the option to play this game in first person perspective, but it won't happen. Having the option would be really, really, nice though. Driving vehicles could all still be third person, which would lessen the amount of work required to make that happen.

I don't see why third person perspective is so popular to be honest as I find it almost akin to cheating as you can see around and over things you shouldn't be able to. Plus I have no desire to look at my own character's back all the time.
