Offline mode for console owners | Forums

Hey i wanted to know if there are any plans to make this game offline for console owners like Diablo 3. I feel that always online games are experiences only and not content
that you truly own. Many gamers are naive to the fact that at any time developers can just stop support for a game, flick the off switch and the game and all the content which you acquired and purchased will be gone forever. (Nosgoth). I really enjoy this game and want to support it, by playing and buying steel to pimp out my heroes. But not at the cost of a RENT!!! This game is basically a rent a service which is wrong, and there is no justification for it. Not co-op story mode or any other bs reason giving to dupe a consumer of there money is okay for making a game always online.


In closing please do the right thing, patch in a offline mode where i can play in the future the day you end support for the game, or when your severs are down, or when my internet is down. This game can be enjoyable offline against bots just as much as playing against human opponents offline. Please Ubisoft do the right thing and patch in a offline mode.

Have you seen D3 on console? So many hacks. Campaign sure make offline but nothing else. D3 is a joke on console.

Soooooo.... you wouldn't want to play offline multiplayer with a friend, or have a lan connection? Or say actually own the game?
Cause right now you don't own ****.

Online only prevents characters being saved locally, which prevents gear stat hacks. If there were 2 modes, Online only and Offline only and the character stuff was completely separated then sure. But local saved character data makes for easy hacking.

Example D3. Console it's garbage. PC where it's online only character saves. Far better. Unless you like to 1 hit everything and guarantee you never die. Sounds boring to me.

WTF?!? always online does not prevent hacking lol. My biggest point in all this is that you don't own this game you payed money for. Or does the value of money mean nothing to you? And as for your Diablo point... its mute, if somebody hacked a save and wants to be OP and one shot the game..... well then it's fun for them and they got there monies worth. You as a consumer should demand this game have a offline mode, and want to be able to play when you want, and not when Ubisoft lets you...
