Weird how your seeker mine can set YOU on fire when it goes off but you could straddle your flame turret and not even roast your chestnuts or singe your (rhymes with singe)

1). Use exotic damage resilience on one gear item...to avoid being one shot

2). You can out run seekers, you can roll through them, you can even run out of the explosion area because of the detonation delay

3). Hipfire is extremely effective at targeting seekers...I have lousy aim...but when seekers come in and I see them I never get one shot...ever.

4). Seekers are programmed to prioritize enemy tech over enemy players. Drop your turret/station/seekers as decoys

5). Flame turrets and SMG turrets target seekers and destroys them as tech prioritizes tech. Deploy them in front of your team.

6). If there are tacticians in an area USE YOUR FREAKING DISRUPTORS AND EMP's...this will render any tactician ineffective for long enough to kill the squishy bastards.

7). Always target tacticians first. You recognize them because they are the ones followed by their little seeker mine. They also like to hang out in the back. Use longer distance weapons.

8). Run in groups. More targets means you are less likely to be the target.

I run a squishy DPS build with 265k toughness on console. My aim is bad. I rarely get killed by seekers. The only times I get killed by seekers is when I am either not paying attention or I am already severely damaged by the insane DPS builds that run around operated by players who can actually aim (or have a mouse). Of course running against a full team of seeker mines is problematic.,...but this requires a tactics adjustment. Which is very easy against multiple tacticians since they are squishy as all hell and rarely stand up to focused long distance fire.

Could be true...after 1.6 I had time to only do weeklies yet, so idk how everything works. I plan to build some extreme resistance build. After that I will adjust to only what is needed. Also for extreme stability to see how it affects bullfrog and M4s.

Logically resistances should be additive so cca 50-55% EDR + burn-shock-bleed pads + burn pack + bleed or shock on mask could get 2 of them to 100% resist.
That is if burn from seekers and flame turret is considered exotic, bleed from nades or shock is anoying too. Will have to research web for resistance mechanics.

Eventually I will end up probably at 3 strikers + 3 PM or HE build with 15-20% EDR and burn resist everywhere as main build if it will work good.

As much as I try myself to stay away from the META/the go to build. His one I am apart of. It's one I've use for a very long while and one I know how to counter and do at times steer clear of because I want to change things up.

Someone who is primarily DPS and squishy as me will not like this build. It's a no skill build and can, if done right obliterate gun skilled players very easily. But when you have everyone running the same build doing the same thing everything else becomes nil and void.

Seekers are annoying even I'm annoyed that I have to use them in LS to Stand any chance of actually feeling competitive and contributing towards the team. Some matches I can hangout in my striker. But Strikers is becoming popular and my fast and furious running around like a headless chicken skills are non existent.

To change the seeker mines might slow the pace of the game a bit because it would result in people no having to be constantly in the move and look of for seekers. They play a purpose and they are at the minute dictating the pace of the game. IMO. I'm a user and even I'm not happy with it.
Things become the go to build because people keep whining and then things get nerfed leaving other things feeling stronger, so again they whine about that and it gets nerfed leaving something else feeling stronger. No one wants to try to counter these builds so they whine for a nerf. This is very quickly turning into a Call of Duty no skill, trigger spam shooter with no diversity in builds.

I have been a solo skill player since day 1 ( or as soon as I opened enough skills in the BoO) Everbody was DPS building so I thought I'd take a different route. Grouped with mates twice before they stopped playing. They were saying "come on build a DPS charcter we need extra firepower", They soon changed their minds when I started throwing down Ammo Caches and Pulsing NPCs...Giving them extra Ammo, skill cool downs and Crits. This s how the game should be..Diverse.
