[FEEDBACK/SUGGESTION] After playing For Honor, Ghost Recon's store feels bad

The #1 thing I love pointing out about For Honor is that the only real money transactions after buying the game is either buying in-game money or the season pass. This is a huge step forward because all the new content can be unlocked with some grinding (which I don't mind when the game is fun like FH or Wildlands) or buying a money pack, which ends up feeling like you're just buying some game time to get up to speed. It is possible to basically "only" pay for the base game (which is already pretty high) and not spending a dime for a cosmetic costume that definitely doesn't worth half of the season pass' price.
This realisation comes after being told that most new cosmetic content will be in the store. Why locking a costume, patch and weapon skin behind a roughly 21$ paywall when the season pass is 40$ too? Another major turn off that we found out is that the only revolver in the game is also locked through a microtransaction.
If you are to put new content in the store, at least give those that already payed 80$ for your game a way to earn them even if it's 1 month worth of grinding, revise the prices OR give the season pass more value (montyly credits?).
It can be as easy as weekly challenges like Rainbow Six does.

We understand that money is needed to keep the servers and the post-launch production running (some of us are working in the industry too), however the current price tag for additional content and potentially premium store system is a huge stab in the back for those loving the game.

For reference, 21$ is more expensive than one BF4 expansion which had several new maps, weapons, skins and items. Almost everyone ended up either buying their premium (which had all the expansions) or buying the expansions one by one over time. A lot more people is likely to buy a fairly priced costume versus less people will buy an overprice cosmetic piece. Oftentimes, lowering those prices leads to more people buying those extra content which leads to higher profits.

The system could even be, as mentioned above, that season pass holders get some credits each month!

The game is great. At Extreme and some HUD elements turned off, it is, to my opinion, the closest any AAA games has gotten from the Rainbow Six 3 experience a several years back. A balance of fun and realism. That premium store currently seems like the only thing that will make our squad, and possibly more people, stop playing.

tl;dr Either revise the cosmetic items prices or find a way to give those who only bought the game (or season pass) some store credits.

Thank you so much for reading.

    I have to agree.

Paying for additional cosmetic content is one thing, but charging for new weapons and vehicles... it's a bit cheap. Even worse when the cost is between 15$-21$
For the price of two winter coats, you get the season pass.

Worse is, you might not even like wearing the coat, or using the gun. So that's 21$ to test a minimal amount of content to see if it suits your play style.
Like Funky said, there should be a way to get those ( weapons at least ) items in game ( Like you perfectly did with For Honor )... or at least, make it a reasonable price. Seriously, 21$ for a winter coat ( That you can't even customize )

For Honor was a huge step in the good direction micro transaction wise... The Division micro,s are meh, and overpriced, but at least it's only ugly neon flashy cosmetics.
Wildlands store sells actual interesting stuff ( Like the only revolver in the game... ) but the store feels like a bug. How can someone in their right mind ask 21$ for a winter coat?
