Just an idea which might add another dimension to the game.

While playing domination, I find myself getting ganked by 2-3 players after initiating a duel with a single combatant.
How about adding an option to challenge a player to a 1v1 duel.
This could easily be done by simply highlighting the player and issuing a challenge in game for them to accept or deny. Once the game has finished you are both taken to the 1v1 duel lobby.

It would be a great way to settle in game grudges.

No because you dont have time to loose with someone dueling especially at a flag zone .You need to clear the zone as fast as you can .Otherwise you keep loosing tickets .Ganking is the result of a stain who wont be removed easily from the flag

would be better if the game had a players met option in the social menu where you could invite them or challenge them in a duel

i've considered this, and i thought it would be best in the post-match screen. you pick their name off the scoreboard and select "challenge to duel". and it takes you immediately to a custom lobby to wait for a response. there are times i'm playing higher level players who i am certain i out-skill, and wish i could take them away from their gank squad and their armor stats.

Another good solution, I certainly think that there is potential to do something along the lines of this.
