So what i've stumpled across lately is that as soon as enemies are on alert and especially when they've spotted you, they take double, sometimes triple the damage as usual, depends on difficulty level. If I'm on recon and undiscovered I can walk up to a guy shot him with a MP7 in the chest, shoulder or back and he collapses. Same guy but on alert now takes 4-5 shots in the chest, headshots still work but what is that?! Artificially altering the NPC stats to make combats harder or what?
Nailed it!!! Devs vision, in a twisted but lazy kind of way of making the game tactical.Originally Posted by riobln Go to original post

Headshots is what you aim for when you are picking and choosing your targets, once you go loud and you get 2 or 3 (if not more) coming at you from all directions (or even straight at you duh!) and your blub squad is too busy checking their nails or spreading bullets all over the town and not hitting the broadside of a building, trying to do headshots is a quick way to die so yes, center mass is the quickest way to deal with them but you better be prepared to un-supress your weapon or pull out your LMG to deal with them.
That or let them kill you and have your squad miraculously deal with the whole lot of them and revive you... if one bad guy does not happen to still there, because you can literally see him looking at you, mocking you even, while a teammate ai is reviving you and you just know you will die a few seconds after![]()
It's just like real life when you psych yourself up for a blow that you know it coming. I can kick any solid object a bunch of times before my feet get sore, but lightly bump my little toe on a chair leg and I'm hopping around, swearing and crying like a baby in an instant. Surely it's the same with weapon rounds piercing your body?
