Everything is killing you because you are bad or reacting bad.
Seekers killing you because you are not moving, svd is killing you because you take to much distance and shotguns are not a easy counter, but as tactician, i can run away and heal myself and have a distance between them.
What a see as tactician is that there are players just standing in cover waiting for airburst to explode in there face(dead)
I see players shooting at deadeye players from 20 meters range(move yourself and try to get close)
And getting into a shotgun player with stikers(i think) that stacks damage buff and just kills you because you are close.

I totally agree with freakie5.. My experience is: play smart, have fun.
Many bulds have natural countermeasures. So if you find a sniper with DE simply do the same or avoid him (last night i was melted by a sniper first 10 minutes.. then i ran away from him or i fight him from the back ;-) ). If you find a shotgunner roll, move, go in cover. With airburst do you need timing: roll away at the right moment and you'll not die..
So now sometimes i use medic-tactician, sometimes airburst-tactician. Yesterday SMG+Striker, the day before yesterday AB+G36/LVOA-C.
Stop nerfing even grandmothers...

SVD doesn't look like it needs a nerf, IMO. It is a marksman rifle, and they're supposed to be powerful. Deadeye is a marksman gear set.
While some items stand out as too powerful (see shotgun stagger in Last Stand) we cannot expect to play the game recklessly and nerf all items that don't allow us to.
Certain gear requires you to adapt tactics to take them down.
If you guys at Massive are cool with how SVD is, then maybe you could make the other semi-auto MMRs more similar? Everyone loved the original M1A at release. It would be nice to get it back. Also, I agree with you. A popular mindset among many PvPers seems to be that everything which can challenge the ARs is OP. I think that's wrong and the current balance is better than 1.5, but it could still use some tweaking. Like the other semi-auto MMRs could use a buff and LMGs could use a buff.
