    Warlord's Headbutt

The only way to avoid it is to predict it. You guess wrong and you get hit. Any advice?

Distance is the key. If you are versing someone who is genuinely spamming head butt, keep a bit of extra distance between you and them. They will eventually whiff it and you can punish with a free guard break. If you get caught by one, just roll out ASAP and try to dodge the next time. If they are mixing it up in between attacks then you have to get a feel for when they head butt and then prepare yourself to dodge it.

    This ^^^

Dodge is your friend. Yes you may take some damage a couple of times, but get out and reset the fight.

I'm pretty sure you can't punish a missed headbutt with a guardbreak, at least not an un-counterable one.

That's what makes Warlord and Conq strong. Their spammable techs can not be responded to with any form of guaranteed punishment.

The only way to beat warlord or conq tech spam is to counter whichever move they use to setup the tech, which is typically a dodge.

If they are dodging and you guard break then yes that is un-counterable.

The other way is to land an attack on them as they start up the tech.

In either case you basically have to predict the tech before it happens because if you wait until the first frame of the tech windup then you can't respond to it with any form of punishment.

From what I've seen, GBs after a failed head butt are uncounterable. At the very least, it will force them to stop them from spamming head butt unless they are willing to play a 20 minute match. Even if they're willing to play a 20 minute match, I'm pretty sure that if you are anything but Raider, LB or any other slow attacking class you can get a free light and slowly whittle them down that way. Again, I might be wrong about the guaranteed GB. If I am, please link a vid proving it and I'll make sure to remember it when I play again.
