Suggestion for new Faction War Mechanics

Hello people, I have a suggestion about how the Faction War can be improved.

    What I think is bad:

There are a lot of players who aren't interested in deploying war assets (or just forget about it), which we can see by the way factions expand their territories: in most cases a faction loses 3 or wins 3 territories in a frontier every update. This is not strategic.

    An idea:

Every War Assets created by players matches should be stored in an "Assets Pool", and interested players should vote where these assets should be deployed every update. This should make the war more strategic and dynamic and avoid situations like the second round, where the samurais had a terrible performance the entire round but, in the last update, they won. Things like this can happen with every faction and can make people forget about the war.

It's a suggestion, I think the war is a cool community mechanic and needs improvements to survive.

That is too much of an overhaul and it would be a slow process at the end of every round. The mechanics aren't broken, people just don't seem to want to learn them. Players that deploy their assets manually can gain a bonus depending where they place them, while players that choose not to have their assets spread out across all territories. One turn does actually influence the next and that can be used strategically.

Maybe add end of turn rewards, such as an amount of steel based off of how many assets you deployed in the round, so that players aren't feeling totally robbed if they performed well during the round but their faction loses.

That's a nice idea, but I think this reward should be based on how many territories you attacked or defended to make people actually deploy somewhere..
