Yes, you got exactly what they offered.
No, things were unclear/wrong.
I'm just here for the popcorn.
I feel ripped off about the "Deluxe" Edition.
Here are the reasons:
1. One re-skinned bike at one starting area location? I was really hoping you could just call it in - THAT would be cool! It doesn't even seem different from the other bikes in terms of performance.
2. Huntsman rifle - Hell, I looked at it in the picture and thought maybe it's an elephant gun or something, but no, it's not a rifle at all but a double barrel shotgun - HUGE difference!
3. The three most unimaginative camos you could think of a green, a brown and a white - all bland. If they'd've been more of those cool Kryptek camos, that would be a'ight.
4. The additional outfit. Again, unimaginative and bland - no fun at all! What's the point of exclusive clothes if they look like nothing special?
5. XP Booster. ??Where is it? I didn't get one. Didn't get my preorder bonus mission either. Weren't we also supposed to get some kind of mission for playing the Beta? Nothing x3.
6. Finally, the emblems. Most of the emblems are so lame, but these were a okay, tiny add on. Again, like everything else; nothing special.
Some may ask: if you're complaining so much, why did you get it in the first place?
Great question!
Before I ordered, I looked at every forum and website and news article I could to get details about this edition.
I even have a couple chats with Ubisoft "Support", sent emails, etc...apparently, no one knew anything about this product they were selling, so I took a chance - big mistake.
As far as I'm concerned, that Deluxe Edition is a big, fat ripoff.
Think I'll be throwing down for the Season Pass?
Hahahahahahaaaaaa........no.
What happened to you, Ubisoft?
Reference (note that the bike doesn't look the same, either):

Well, the bike doesn't look like what was advertised. That's the one point I can agree on with OP. I was hoping to get something flashy just like the one in the image OP linked.Originally Posted by o0 DaGnOmE 0o Go to original post
It was common knowledge the fact that buying the Deluxe would only give you those select few digital rewards. Not sure why you're having buyers' remorse now. The items look pretty much the same as the image you linked. The only difference are the emblems that are slightly different, which in my opinion are far better than the ones in the image.Originally Posted by RomaDragon Go to original post
As for the booster, it is under your in-game stats (press I, then press the stats option on the left side). You can activate it from there.
May I suggest you avoid buying Deluxe in the future if it's going to cause you so much heartache? It's a horrible industry practice of up-selling cut content for more profits, but you still have the choice of not buying it to begin with. No reason to be upset now.
I'm sorry but I agree. I pre-ordered the deluxe a while back with all reward points (paid 6 cents) and there was no info on the items until sometime just before launch when I was already charged. They absolutely could have done more.
The bike is in one location... what's that about? It should be at EVERY base. On top of that, it could have been made a two seater which would have been a game changer, especially if the passenger could shoot.
The shotgun is great at least. I really like the patches too but the camos were pretty bland for being exclusive. The gear was nothing unique either. All in all it was just not worth $10 and it was just executed poorly.
I've accepted I bought it but this deserves the feedback for future reference. I think this was my first deluxe purchase (and first preorder in who knows how long excluding GoW) and probably my last.
Also, my boost is missing too. It was not under that stats page, it said I owned none. I don't even care about that anyway though but still, I didn't receive it.
One might consider not falling for the BS marketing garbage. Never pay for a product you have not seen or sampled or a product you cannot find someone to vouch for. The very existence of a "marketing" department is to get you to spend more money for a product than it's worth. That is where they turn a profit. Unfortunately, they often use methods that are not 100% ethical or forthcoming. Now if they can convince you to give them your money for a product that you have not seen yet or perhaps it doesn't even exist yet, they've really got you. They could shove any half assed product at you and call it good because they no longer care. They already have your money.
Now I'm not saying that you should NOT pre order or pre pay for a product if you think it's worth it. After all, people still play the lottery even though their chance of winning is ridiculously low.

Not sure if you actually read my post, "mate", but I'll reiterate it for you here now in simpler words just for you:
The whole topic of this post was that I didn't know exactly what I was getting despite going through a lot of effort to research it - so, basically the opposite of what you said.![]()

This just seems like the perfect place to express my displeasure at being taken advantage of and I'm sure plenty of people feel the same way.
It all came down to trusting a company that I've been a loyal fan of for so long.
The lesson I've learned is that Ubisoft has lost all credit with me.
I'm not sure about unclear.. but not detailed enough...
Such as bike only being in one spawn location... like the op I thought it would be something we could summon at the rebel out posts or something like that.. not one location on the whole map...
Or the fact its said Huntsman rifle.. and instead its a shot gun...
