I found a few serious problem with the stealth mechanics. These problems doesnt always occur... i recorded a video about my gameplay, to see what am i doing wrong, and i saw a few very strange things!
- Synch shoot doesnt registered. I marked 3 enemies in the open, my AI teammates were ready, i pressed the Q button on the keyboard, and only two of my teammates started to shoot, the third guy didnt do anything! Doesnt say anythig, doesnt do anything, and my stealth was blown. What the hell! This happened two times!
- Sometimes enemies can see through walls.
- "Insta-spotted", happened one time.
I've never, ever been in a scenario where an enemy has seen me through a wall - however, there are cracks in walls, there are 'fences' that you barely can see through also. It's nice to take advantage of those cracks. (can't find a better word, it's not really cracks, just walls not put tightly enough together if you know what I mean)
I play on advanced because I would go crazy if I died over and over to enemies I didn't see, and it's a walk in the park and my favourite approach is melee only, even if it's a 30+ units unidad base. Sometimes I go ham with a machine-gun.
The far best option though if you're struggling is to have an MSR+A rifle with high accuracy and HIGH noise reduction with supressor on, makes the game real easy. (ACR/Mk17 would be my top picks due to fairly high damage and penetration). Also a good thing to use is div lure+flashbang to take out large groups of enemies without even needing* to use the sync shot, gives you around 4 seconds~ to pick groups off, and that's enough for at least 8 people if your aim is steady. I rarely ever use sync shot.
since i play only on Extreme i didnt find the game hard at all ... sure the enemy has some out of this world aim ... the only real thing that bugs me is reinforcement spawn directly behind you ... literally they pop out of nowwhere and. it doestn matter if you hide or if you are 500m away the enemy knows where you are the second you got the "Hunted" status eveny if you are in a drone and you send in a "diversion rebel party" while being Status White.... the second the Rebel Diversion attacks the enemy they know exactly where you are... which makes the Diversion kinda useless.. so the only part ubisoft did to make this game hard is making the ai ,all seing ,all hearing ,all hitting.. which is sad given the year.... thats even bad for games back in the late 90´s
