Blind and deaf watchtowers even in extreme difficulity.

The watchtowers are useless even on extreme mode they cannot spot you until your are literally on top of them, I have never been engaged by one of the SB snipers after 50 hours of play.
You would think snipers would actually snipe you.

To prove my point look at below pic - the helo flew right up to the watchtower and I snapped the screenshot the just before the tower guard spotted the helicopter.

It's totally lame you can fly or even walk right up to the watchtowers even in extreme gameplay mode.
Please fix extreme game play mode make it "extreme" - because it's just extremely annoying it's not a simulation mode like it claims.

Something doesn't sound right. I'm on pc with the 3rd difficulty and they spot me all the time, especially Unidads.

Look at the pic, at that distance do you think the tower guard couldn't spot armed men in the damn chopper? Oh and this isn't to do with tactics it's the over easy detection ranges in extreme gameplay mode.

I have been spotted by wandering patrols sure, but the tower snipers NEVER.

I mean Unidads in watch towers. It's either a bug if you're on console or they're on the other side of the tower.

I've actually had a sniper see me from 400 metres away as soon as I came out from a bush, so i'm not sure how your having an issue.

    I'm also on Xbox 1

These towers should be forever referred to as "Helen Keller" towers.

    Not my experience.

I get spotted by them all the time.

    Perhaps its the vehicle?

Ok put this to the test again - extreme game play mode broad daylight middle of two lane bridge standing, closed to 84 meters before I was noticed.

I think for extreme mode I'm right in saying the detection's need tweaking - When I'm this visible so close and the SB tower guard is looking dead at me then proceeds to pull out a set of binos still staring dead at me and fails to see me walk up the middle of the road until 84 meters. It needs tweaking for extreme mode.
Also take a look at the pic it seems as if it was the SB guard on the ground that spots me before the SB guard in the tower, you can see the glow of the spotting npc through the bottom of the panoramic sight.

In that pic in op, I think he's not looking at you. He's looking through his binocular toward the opposite direction. About the helo sound, he could've assumed it's a friendly helo and didn't bother turning around to identify.
