Hy there, donīt get me wrong, i like this game for a lot of things ( graphics, fighting system, co-op system, story, enviroment, ect. ) but there too are a few things i donīt like, and my number one of these is, there are no surprises exploring, i mean wirh a sooooo big and beautyfull map, it invites you ( or me at least ) to explore between fights, but there is nearly nothing to find, i mean there could be random supply cases, weapons , armour or even some kind of treasures amoung the map, in desert villiges, churches, burned down houses, or even in normal village houses, i mean surprises which one didnīt espect. Besides the things marked in the map or band with missions.
Un saludo desde espaņa !
Agree 100% I was playing with friends. They ran around grabbing intel. So now my map shows all locations for guns, skill points etc. I've done plent of rebel side missions. They've become boring. I love to explore! But as you said, nothing to look for. No camera mode to snap pictures. Nothing...
Id love to see them add hidden side missions in all the regions. For example you're driving along and all of a sudden you get a distress call from a down rebel chopper. The game gives you a search grid and X amount of time to find them. If you take too long they are killed by narcos. (the mission will reappear later) They could also do a few were you have to find a injured escaped rebel. Maybe hunt down a high ranking narco.
Add a bonus mission in each region. But you need to find 3-4 hidden items to unlock it. And don't hold our hands by telling us where this stuff is..
I love this game. But I'm already bored. Nothing to do really out leveling up and story missions
I had my hopes up for a helo rescue the first time a saw a flair shoot across the horizon.Originally Posted by shotbyron Go to original post
What's the point? Everyone will go on the internet to find where everything is hidden anyway.
There's all the weapons you mentioned scattered across everywhere.
You could've tried looking for them without getting the locations pointed out for you. That would've been exactly what you are asking for.
Including the Legends as treasures.
But I bet you found everything by having the locations pointed out for you.
Now you're saying there's nothing to find.
If ubi released the game without showing locations of where the weapon cases are, everyone would complain.
Or go on the internet to find a cheat sheet of where everything is located.
Now you found everything, and complain that there's nothing hidden.
There are a few hidden things you can find other than weapons.
Kind of on the same topic there is so much potential for end game content in the form of randomized missions. Go here capture this person, kill that person, disable this, protect that. Only part in struggling with is what would the reward be for end game discoveries and missions. Some sort of Bolivian currency introduced that could buy you new dlc skins and clothing possibly.
I kinda don't agree. I have found a lot of interesting spots, with super cool enviro story telling elements. Just to name one, to not spoil too much, I have found a camp where santa blanca organized manhunts. It was a really great experience to see it and think about for a moment, what kind of sick bastards the cartel is.
Lol When I say hidden, I mean stuff that is triggered by entering a zone. Something that happens "Naturally" in the world. And if people want to youtube it, that's on them.Originally Posted by mezzatron Go to original post
And apparently reading isn't a strong suit of yours. As I said, other collected intel while we were playing together. Now when I check my map, it shows me everything. And since the brains who designed the game can't put 2 and 2 together, I can't hide it on my map.
And yes, those easters eggs are great. There isn't a major lack of side missions. There is basically 2 resource missions. Steal plane/Chopper or stop convoy. And maybe 5 or 6 rebel. Side missions. Most of which are horrible. So adding those will give us reason to explore and add replay value
Nah, I can't read. Really should go get some lessons.
Did you discover all weapons, weapon parts and medals without getting the intel for them before you made the suggestion to put in hidden weapons? That would've kept you busy.
I think the devs have put a lot of side quests out there. Yes more is always welcome, but you can never put enough to make everyone happy. Heck I've seen someone ask "let me throw rocks". Seriously? When you have a diversion lure grenade and you want to throw rocks like a little child.
Even if throwing rocks was in the game, someone would ask for "throwing paper airplanes". Can't make you guys happy.
If you're bored put the game on extreme and go take out the supply drops and convoys using a pistol only. Challenge yourself. If this was a requirement to unlock something you would definitely do it. Also there are some achievements such as "Kill 7 enemies with one mine" etc. Have you completed all of them? They are pretty good.
There are 8 Lost Pachamama statues, do you want to find them without looking for hints online?
There are already hidden features in game like the condor feather in the bottom left region (cant remember the name). It's at the top of a mountain, unmarked, and the only clue to it's whereabouts is strange panpipe music when you get close. I believe there are a lot of features like this already hidden in the game (along with the do not press buttons) for people to find. We just need some time to discover them.
