Orochi soft feint top light into ZA? | Forums

As title says.

I was mirrored against an Orochi last night who was superior to me. His mind game was way better and I let through way too many obvious parries. One thing I noticed was that he seemed to cancel top light into ZA. There was no ghosting aura that you see with heavy feints. He seemed to go for the top light long enough for me to guard stance that way (the startup was way faster than the top heavy) and then he went straight into the ZA.

Anybody else seen or done this?

It might just be a zone attack.. because orochi's zone attack, as well as PKs.. start off top red guard stance then followed by a side, and only the side that hits.

I might be mistaken, but from experience that's what happens to me.

That's simply how the PK and Orochi's zone attack looks like sometimes.

To be clear, my indicator flashed top which was why his ZA hit as you auto guard that direction when you can vs Orochi, PK, Warden etc...
