So today I wanted to call in a helicopter so I can get the hell out of the place faster. What happend was that it put the heli just beside a rock wall. When I wanted to go up/back with the Heli, the rotors broke.
That's why I called in a second one. The second one was put on a slope and went down. Guess what, it went down next to the other heli. And yes, that one broke aswell.
It even became worse as it put it 4 times! next to each other on the slope. Gladly the fourth time I could get away from the heli's without breaking the rotor of that one. But it broke the windows etc.
Spoiler: Show
The game is great but this just has to change.
Yep, the rebels parked it there for me!Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
Thanks, I thought I changed it on the GeForce thingie but it's fixed now. :P
Fully agree, so often I have to chase a chopper down a mountainside, they are on buttered skis or something and weigh nothing. How about giving the vehicles some better physics, and in specific not making choppers seemingly weightless on the ground? I don't imagine it would be too difficult to have our vehicle summon where our reticle is pointing, or under a template the same as rebel diversion uses, thus controlling where our vehicle comes in better.
And perhaps adding button mapping for better flight controls! The way they are currently is absolute trash and really detracts from the fun. Is it too hard to ask to be able to use both sticks (console) to control a helicopter? Battlefield 4 had by far the gold standard for helicopter flight controls on console and this game needs them badly.Originally Posted by darksavior1977 Go to original post
I agree, let's just hope that one of Ubisoft devs see this so they can adress this small issue.Originally Posted by darksavior1977 Go to original post
Probably about 30% of the choppers I call in (I use them a lot) are spawned somewhere that causes rotor impact and damage before I have time to take off.
Hell, sometimes the choppers spawn ontop of things I can't reach without another chopper...LOL.
I also love how if I'm standing in the middle of a LARGE clear intersection, I call in a chopper and they drop it 200 meters away pushed up against the side of a building...wtf
You know, as much as I despise UBI and would like to blame it for everything, not that I think they are not wrong on it but... have you guys tried to get into a bigger clearing before you call a vehicle or helo to avoid this from happening? Again, and knowing UBI making the least effort, it can only help getting your blood to the point of boiling and keep from enjoying your game![]()
