Nerf 1vs1 revenge gains but Revenge mode in multiple opponent scenario needs some tuning.
When playing 4vs4 modes depending on the classes your are facing can result in a no play situation with certain hero comps warden/warlord/conc/shugogi/lawbringer/valkyrie
if you are facing 2 or more of the classes mentioned before it can resusult in a situation where you can just put down your controller even when getting revenge because of the moves they have that bypass revenge mode completely.
Spamming shoulder/demonsembrace/longarm/shieldbash in turns and theres nothing you can do to fight back you loose all controll of your character rolling helps for a second and they just go straight back into the spammables that stagger or knock you down.
Even thou revenge is really powerfull and too good in 1vs1 situations it definetly needs some work in the situation mentioned above in a game like this there never should be a point where you just cant play or controll your character.
Buff revenge?! Oh, please... If you can't win without revnge, then there's something wrong in your play. Yes revenge should remain but gain from injury gone and revenge should be extremely hard to get. All you see rught now are 108 gs dominating in 4v4 because of **** mechanics. You basically hit them twice and they get revenge
...yes I read it, but once again you´re so focused on your own post so you miss the point. Without the revenge knockdown this problem would not exist. As the same goes, i think revenge should be limited to once in a life (revives counted in as well). I justlost a game because of a PK getting revenge 3 times vs. me in elimination. That sucks. I´m sure if you know how to actually defend you can win 1v4s as well. I´ve done it, but they were bad opponents.
so don´t buff revenge. The gains to fill the revenge-meter should take longer, attack should get a moderate boost, defense a moderate boost and the knockdown effect should be gone (apart from when revenge is applied), the "revenge from injury" gone (why is that even there in first place?!) and that the revenge could only be applied once per death (not nullified if someone revives you)
Also spamming long-arm or sweep is the way I do it now against those who get revenge during 1v1´s. F**k you for using it in the 1st place.
