Turned Godrays to On and turned Motion Blur off since I hate that anyhow. Now get just over 38 FPS average.
I let GeForce Experience set optimal for the game, last time I do that for a Ubisoft title lol.

Still not very high FPS, but at least it's playable now. Only problem is if I drive or fly too quickly the terrain loads slowly. As in, textures go very low and occasional freeze to load map.

^ yea, this is ridiculous. I can achieve 60+ fps on a 780ti but sometimes when I boot up it drops below 30 fps even on low settings.

Well obviously something is wrong so I guess he can look on the bright side. You should be expecting about 80fps very high and low-mid 50's on ultra in the bench.

I'm getting between 20-30 fps regardless of action on screen and at LOW SETTINGS PRESET!

    Other games aren't an issue.

    My rig:
    i7-2600K 4.5ghz
    Asus ROG STRIX GTX 1080
    Windows 10 64
    32G RAM

    What's the fix?

I've not really had chance to play the game yet (just going through initial set up), but I have only got between 30-40fps myself.

Admittedly that is with all settings maxed, not tried other settings yet.

    I am running:

    i7 7700k
    Asus ROG Strix GTX1080
    Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR4 @ 3GHz

As with others, other games will run at a full 144fps, inc Fallout 4 at full settings for example.
