    4V1 Gaurdbreaks

When it comes to 4v1s there are many problems, much of which have to do with morals. However there is one part of these that I cant stand, and that is the guard break system. I believe, as a conqueror myself, that guardbreaks can be necessary in situations with classes like mine which typically have a long lifespan in these situations it is fair for a failed guardbreak to result in such a large window of opportunity to attack as it does, but even if a counter is successful this window; although shorter, is still there. I believe that this can be solved by making it so that if anyone counter guardbreaks a person they are not locked onto that the animation be a simple slap, resulting in an opportunity for the defender to block and a smaller shorter "stumble" distance for the attacker(nothing enough to cause a cliff fall or wall stun). Thank you very much for reading my post and please comment below.

That sounds like a good idea. A simple GB, even when countered, can get you killed despite your defense being solid. Another (perhaps bad) idea is to give CGBs a rapid counter attack property, which can lead into chains. This initial counter strike would have a faster than usual speed, and *maybe* add an unparryable property (this way the counter can be defended against, but you don't swing yourself into a parry>guaranteed GB due to the potentially fixed window and speed of the counter).

So......you want to be less vulnerable during a tech window (as the defender) for a GB so noone can sneak in a free hit while you're busy teching the GB?

It doesn't seem too outlandish, considering it's possible to block and *parry* attacks from four enemies from four different dire tions simultaneously. I'm not in love with the idea though. I just think it's an interesting idea that *might* improve gameplay.

The only reason you "parry" is because auto block kicks in and parries the rest for you. This would nerf assassins and kensei though since their only means of attacking you is Gb and strikes.

    Addition to original thread

In order to practically implement this I thought that the game could be changed to detect when more than one person is locking onto you. this would make my suggestion valid in even 2v1 scenarios. to make it clear all i am asking for is a sped up old counter guardbreak animation or a new one to leave you less vulnerable while successfully performing the action as currently whether you counter or dont, the other team will still be at the advantage as you are defenseless during the animation

No i don't think this would necessarily be a nerf to the assassin heroes as it would apply to EVERY champion and in no way stops people from gaurdbreaking (as you seemed worried about). my complaint is that even if you do complete a counter-guard break, the animation window is large enough for any combination of enemies, assassin or otherwise to mortally wound or even kill you.

He definitely has a point, I have seen this mechanic abused many a time in 2+v1. If anyone from the 2+ side throws a GB it is a guaranteed hit for that side. If the one guy doesn't CGB they take the Gb and get hit. If they CGB the animation is long enough that the player who didn't GB gets a hit in.

Its like getting killed while executing another player, your locked and there is nothing you can do about it.

That's a good way of putting it; even if your defense is impenetrable under normal circumstances, a single failed GB attempt can shut you down real quick.

If you're in a 4v1 situation, you deserve to die.
