Give reasons to explore the map!!

This is the best map Ubisoft has ever made!!

too bad the focus doesnt lie in exploring because now everything is done for you. Gather intel and the game says where to go, in this way i dont pay attention to the map but only to get near my destination.

There are some really cool places where i thought i would find something extra but it didnt. Cool places that has been created but not been used.

So my question to the creators:

Can you put some goodies like collectibles scattered around the map that would unlock something everyone wants (clothing, weapons etc). But dont mark these locations and dont give any help.
This way we would have a reason to go to places that dont have a marker but still look beautifull.

If anyone else has any thoughts on this please tell, we have a big map with lots of potential for great ideas!!

It is definitely the best open world map I have seen. I love how the wood provinces roads are extremely bumpy. I like GRWL because it is a game that I enjoy to play sparingly. I Like to get to the new province open all major intels and then take a break and go back and do the missions. I have a feeling the PvP is going to be pretty descent.

I really doubt they would put this much time and effort into the map and not ultimately give us a lot to do all over the map. I expect many additions over the next year to promote everything you are saying. Great post, thanks for sharing your points!

A true explorer needs no reason to explore. Yesterday I skimmed salt flats in a plane and base jumped off of a giant mausoleum for no reason but to do it.

best , largest and detailed open world map we've seen...BUT.....

They could've and should've put more collectables, Easter eggs or something that would concerned the game. Maybe like Flags, Shrines, "Golden Cocaine Bags", weapon stashes, money bags...stuff you collect and/or turn over to the locals. Maybe after so much in $$$$ amount get something special...weapon, outfit? We spend about 50% on foot and the other 50% driving, flying or boating but really a detailed world....great job on the Devs part.

Slow down, walk into a dense jungle, look around and listen...no reason needed.

I'm all for additional unlockable items like paintjob, pattern, clothes, etc spreading around the map.

But I don't need those as the reason just to explore the map. It's beautiful enough to get me walk around.

too bad they removed half the reason to explore the map by offering weapons and attachments as micro-transactions

seriously, there's 5 reasons to explore the map (excluding the main missions)
    - Skill points
    - Rebel-ops/side missions
    - Collect weapons
    - Collect attachments
    - Kingslayer files

Does anyone know if all of the skil points, weapons, and weapon parts are permanently spawned on the map at the start? If so, when interrogating a lieutenant one could only select the rebel support ops Intel (green) and ignore the others. That way they would not show on the map and you would have to go hunt for them.

I do wish other unlockable items like clothing, accessories, etc, were scattered around the map.

I think it would also be cool if the cartel had static and randomly generated weapon /equip caches in the country side to loot.

I believe the microtransactions are optional, no? You can get almost all of what they offer in game already. Thus, this actually promotes exploration.

I do agree that they could add something else to incentivize exploration, but after all of the AC games and their atrocious quantity of collectibles, I actually appreciate what this has to offer. Instead of collectibles, maybe make some of the less used areas some sort of side op that can be repeated for XP or something. Like a small (or large) base and once you eliminate all of the threat, you get some sort of xp bonus. I think that would be decent enough. Or maybe a few supplies, like 150 of each or something. I know it's not much, but with so many other options for resources, I don't think it would be overpowering.
