Some suggestions, and grievances
Alright, so I have been playing this for a few hours now and having used both AI and human partners, I have a list of suggestions and grievances to put out there.
Grievances:
Damage. Why is the P416 damage so frikkin low? Yet the M4A1 and G36c outclass it for damage when they all use the exact same ammunition type?
Accuracy. It really seems like every round fired at range has a tendency to drift right, and not follow the sights, so either the sights havent been aligned properly, or there is some weird wind pattern in every fire fight that causes bullet drift.
Respawning. Why in the same hell am I unable to simply spawn at the nearest safe location? Why is it that my only options are to spawn on a team mate? I had a team mate who was getting his kids lunch, and I was a ways away, somehow murdered myself with a motorcycle ( another issue) and my only option was to NOT spawn at the safe house I literally just left, but to spawn 19.8K away at his location, meaning I now had to load to him, then fast travel back to where I was, with more loading?
No bleed out option? Why must I wait 60 seconds every single time I die? Why is there no option to simply bleed out and respawn immediately?
Very difficult to find your team mate on the map. There is no click option for a button to snap to my teammates location on the map screen. That seems an oversight.
Vehicle driving. Good. Lord. I know you guys are not Turn 10, nor Rockstar, but come on.....It's brutally painful to drive a vehicle.
Flying mechanics. Why is there no YAW control? I can't rotate the helicopter on its axis? I have no rudder control in aeroplanes. Bind that to RB/LB already. It would make flying leagues easier.
This game is exactly what The Division should have been, just in New York. So far I'm having a lot of fun playing this game, but not really getting into the story. I have no vested interest in the characters, let alone MY character. No attachment to my AI team mates. I have no idea who Bowman is, and how she is still assigned to this OP considering her extreme emotional attachment to the situation. The missions don't really have any sustenance to them so far, and to be completely honest, other than advancing the story, I haven't felt any desire really to DO the story and side missions, I have focused more on gaining intel, unlocking weapons, weapon parts, etc etc.
Hopefully most of these issues are just growing pains. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game pans put compared to The Division.
